Good Points: Um if pushed for a good point I guess I would have to say the close proximity to the beach?!?!?
Bad Points: Where do I start, the dirty smelly chalets, the so called catering (think dodgy burgers from a fun fair!), the overpriced shop, the "entertainment", the parking - non existent, the rude unhelpful staff, the lack of anything to do...believe me the list goes on!!!
General comments: Oh my god - do not go here whatever you do!! Spend your well earned cash on a nice B & B instead!! We arrived here on the Friday night at about 8pm, we had left by about 9.30pm!!
We were sent from pillar to post trying to check in as the reception was shut. When we finally got a key, no one knew where our chalet was so we had to hunt for it! The chalet was the most disgusting thing ever! No shower, the bath had a ring of scum around it. The carpets were disgustingly dirty and smelly. They gave us a double duvet for the sofa bed (which no one had made up), when I went to sit on the bed I fell through as the mattress springs had all fallen off. We literally could not sleep here! When we complained, we were told that the management would not be available until the morning so we left.
I have since had a full refund - after writing them several letters!!!

I described it I believe as " Awful, minging, and "a joke" during the course of my 2 day stay (should have been 3, but just had to come home). I really am no snob - I have been on caravan breaks, holidays abroad, camping - all types - but this was the absolute pits.

The chalets' are filthy. There is no entertainment for adults during May, and the place looks run down and tired from the outside. Not worth a second thought let alone a visit !!!!!!!!!!!
I'm just sorry that I didn't take photo's.
The staff are very rude.

Well, we had driven all the way from Glasgow in a minibus with two families and it was the first week of the English school summer holidays 2007 and if you remember it was during the floods. So by the time we arrived everyone was hoping for a wee ray of sunshine to take away the pressure of the journey and from the moment we drove into the park we weren't let down. We would definitely go back to Pontins Camber Sands, the only thing that would perhaps prevent us is the 12 hour drive to get there. ...

We have had holidays at Pontins Camber holiday park for years. The entertainments manager is wonderful. My sons actually request to go there. We have never had a problem getting things done, or with the staff. Either we are lucky or we allow a little give and take, and treat them as we would expect to be treated.

I had mistakenly booked our holiday to Pontins Camber for 2 weeks, which was a big mistake. I spent over £700 and had expected better, but even when I brought the problems up with 'customer services', they were less than interested and told me I could always go elsewhere!? I booked this holiday for my 2 sons, who love the quads etc. I checked with the resort and local agents prior to booking that they would be available, and I was told they were up and running by the site reception, as tha ...

Before I get into my review proper, I am going to qualify what I have to say by pointing out that I was not at Pontins Camber Sands for a holiday, I was there out of season for a music festival, so many of the facilities were not open and I did not have the experience that a family would have there.
Having said that, I pity anyone who actually chooses to go to one of these places on holiday. It was like being in an institution, and I can't imagine there is much to do, as it is a tiny little ...

Filthy Filthy Filthy everywhere, shower mouldy, windows mouldy, patio doors unable to see out of..... honest, carpet rotten, table broken, chairs filthy, door frame broken, window frame broken, restaurant too dark to see your food, which was a good thing,,,,, stairs and balconies were disgustingly dirty and needed a clean overall the whole centre could do with a good disinfectant and a coat of paint to scrub it up a bit to get rid of the smell of mould and mildew EVERYWHERE

Having spent a lousy weekend at Pontins Camber I would like to advise of some of the problems my family encountered, we found rooms full of rubbish where they hadnt been cleaned, damage to door frames, kitchen and bedroom units including large nails and splinters, a faulty water heater that flooded the kitchen, mould and mildew that had been there for weeks in the shower cubicles.

I think the past reviews of Pontins Camber were very unfair as we had a great time. No doors on wardrobes - they are designed that way not missing - there were three wardrobes - all with drawers to conceal belongings. The accommodation cost less for five of us for the weekend than it did to put the dog in kennels!! We set a budget per day and actually came home with money so I disagree prices are high. The kids had a great time which is the most important thing for us. I was prepared for basic ...

Pontins Camber:
We waited 1 and 1/2 hours for the key to our apartment.
The duvet was blood stained and, we had a leaking loo, unvaccumed floor, dusty, kick marks in front door, egg remains still in frying pan.
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE !!!

We walked in to our accommodation to find the bedroom cupboard in the living room, it had no doors on it and you had to store belongings in this in full view of theive's, the drawer's was broken too. Pontin's said another customer must of stolen the doors and they cant replace them, The floor was sticky and very stained, we complained about the bed settee in living room being very dirty uncomfortable and stained, was given a sheet to put over it for the week, The bath had more rust in it than a ...

Pontins Camber:On arrival I found the bath and wash basin had a layer of dead insects and general dirt that had been there for a considerable time. The Kitchen had a layer of grease over the work tops & walls. The cooker was filthy and the sofa-bed was broken and had sharp metal pieces sticking out of the arms. The Carpet was truly something to see, plus the cherry on top had to be the condom stuck to the outside of the window.
When asked to rectify the problems I was met with a shrug and the c ...
