    my review is about 1 of pontins sites in prestatyn i think this place should b shut down i stayed at the site 4 a weeks its dirty outdated n little 4 the kids 2 do even though it boasats about bein a family friendly site this i did not find the room that me n my family stayed at was so dirty that there was mould on top of the cupboards there was female blood on the covers4 mine n my parpners bed the toliet was in a state these r some of the things we found when we asked the manager bout this she was very disrespectful n just brushed it 2 1 side we evetually got the room cleaned n we spent the rest of the hoilday was spent in either the pool or the beach which is its only 2 good points.B4 i went on holiday we read bad reviews n took no notice i just wished we did so we could have gone somewhere better has when we came home we had 2 book another holiday 4 the kids

    The accomodation sounded very good with what was supplied with the top chalet but it was disgusting. As soon as we arrived the chalets didn't look good and the parking was atrocious. I had to park miles away from the chalet. Once inside I wanted to go home. The space was very small we are used to caravans and they are much more spacious. The bedsetee was filthy we had to put a cover over it before we could sit on it. They badly need upgrading very old fashioned and in need of decorating. We ...

    Spent a week at prestatyn pontins. We normally goto a Haven but thought we would give this a go instead. Have 3 boys 14, 2 and 5. All loved it , loads to do. the blue coats and entertainment were brilliant.On all day which made a nice change. Everything was better than Haven . Food and drinks where cheap 99p for a pint of coke £1.50 for a chip butty. Only spent £4 on electric for the whole week.     my thoughts of pontins is just that pontins is mega good i have bean 4 times now and i loved every mins of it and hopefull i will go again soon

    Just got back from a three night stay at Pontins Prestatyn, having visited the site with my wife and 2 young boys (aged 4 and 1). Actually thats not quite true,it was meant to be a three night stay but we left after only one night.. here's how it went...

    Arrived on site at 4pm.. checked in and drove round to the challet. while unloading our bags of clothes etc from the car I couldn'thelp notice the amount of beer that other people seamed to be unloading all around me.

    You go there for a weekend...great...Pontins, Prestatyn put on entertainment....but come monday morning no entertainment...absolutely zilch to do, you get charged £4 an hour for wi-fi, I could go on....

    Just spent a weekend in pontins Prestatyn and all 11 of us had a fantastic time. After reading the reviews i was dreading it but there was no need to, the classic apartment we had was clean and perfectly adequate for a base for a family break, check in was quick and easy, car parking was fine and everywhere was clean and tidy. We went out everyday so i cant comment on the daytime activities but we all had a good time in the fun factory at night and there was a good atmosphere all round.

    Came back from Prestatyn yesterday after a 4 night break. Was in a classic apartment which was clean, check-in was quick and painless.
    Was my 16 month old son's first holiday an he loved the fact i could just open the door an he could run onto the grass an charge about!
    Our apartment was right near the fair an blasted music out, which stopped at 9pm which isn't great when u got to get a little one to sleep!
    Didn't go out after 7 coz of baby, so can't comment on evening activities.

    If you are expecting first class accom.you will be disappointed.However if you usually holiday in a caravan its a step up from that! Rooms were small and beds ok, except dreadful sofabed, but it was warm and had all the essentials in the kitchen.Nothing was terribly clean,but it was ok as a base for family of 5.     My daughter & I visited Pontins, Prestatyn for the first time at the end of the summer holidays. I read a few reviews before we went so I knew what to expect but wanted to keep an open mind.
    The good points first:
    * £129 for 4 nights accomodation was very reasonable.
    * Pleasantly surprised at the Classic appartment-clean & tidy.
    * Check in was quick.
    * Soft play area ("wacky warehouse" style) was good & large, somewhere to relax when kids play.

    We have visited Pontins Prestatyn several times and have enjoyed every visit. I suffered the loss of my wife prior to this holiday, I won't go into too much detail, but the staff were absolutely superb in the way they handled every detail. I simply can't thank them enough, thanks once again if you read this.

    Im amazed where these people stayed. We came back thursday because we were so stressed that a holiday site could be so disgusting. Our chalet had blood and dirty everywhere, i complained yet nothing was done. The Pontins entertainment was so poor it was funny. We had beer and spent next day throwing up after 1 pint. Went to ask for can opener as our was broke and was told didnt have any oh my god. I had to strip every bed and wash it myself and ours were disgusting. Doesnt matter what level u st ...

    Just got back from Pontins Prestatyn and it was amazing!!! The entertainment staff were brilliant really knew how to get the crowd going. Take Fat were so funny my children and husband couldn't stop laughing. Espcially thier pirate party!
    The only thing letting it down is the chalets, but hey it's CHEAP!!!

    Absolutely fantastic see you next year hopefully take fat too!

    Just got back from a 4 night stay in a club apartment at Pontins Prestatyn. Check in was easy. We got asked if we would like a free cleaning service so I said ok. The room was nice and clean and much bigger than the club rooms at Pontins Brean Sands. The floor was a laminate which was a lot better than carpets that can get dirty and sticky.     i loved the Pontins, Prestatyn holiday cause the club was good the bluecoats show was excellent. They really knew how to entertain me. i was glad to go to prestatyn sand

    i liked all of the bluecoats show
    i liked the h20 zone
    i like all of the bluecoats
    i liked chuckles the monkey and captatin croc and zena the zebra and florence

    I was dreading our holiday AT PONTINS PRESTATYN SANDS,as id read the reviews on here, but i really cant understand all the bad reviews. our 2 bed classic apartment was basic but clean and perfectly adequote, the shower was good. the entertainment was excellent for all ages and very varied we saw circus acts and bands. the food at the resteraunt was cheap and tasty and the same at the queen vic pub. my 3 young kids aged 6,4 and 8months had an excellent time and we were all sad to leave 4 days was ...

    Arrived back from holiday last night, we only stayed 2 nights in prestatyn. Should have just come home the first day.

    Check in was ok, but we did arrive at 5pm instead of 4pm to avoid the queue. We just had a 1 bedroom basic apartment for 2 adults and 5year old plus 22month old. We where suprised to be told that we had a elecric card inclosed in the welcome pack.(We booked with Sun £9.50 holiday) so it must have been included in the servie charge.
