Respect : 0we arrived at Pontins, Blackpool, quickly able to get to apartment,staff very helpful. our room was clean,tea nad coffee available, maybe beds could have been a bit wider single was like a 2ft 6ins, maybe ok for a child.

Respect : 0they must be twinned dry rot in the roof stained and smelly carpets ants crawling in the 6 rooms we switched to. Pontins, Blackpool needs atleast 3 licks of paint new beds etc should knock down and start again. the main building is nice and clean pub etc. Night entertainment is good a good laugh and good prices. Reception staff didn't really seem bothered that we had ants in our bed or that they had given us the wrong rooms.

Respect : 0went to pontins for a break but it was like going to the set of hi-de-hi it was so out of date surelly after all the bad comments which are dated 2008 and we went in 2008 the reps must of had their eyes closed to say this camp was family orientated as it was no way fit for families we were looking forward to the ice show but instead we got a useless ticket for the ballroom in the tower it was not worth it considering how much the hot ice show tickets cost and the other trips out were boring ...

Respect : 0I went to pontins with my husband on the 17th oct 2008 after reading the reviews we were not looking forward to our weekend .On arrival we were pleasantly surprised staff at check-in were helpful . We got to our chalet it was basic but warm and clean .The food was ok and plenty choice entertainment was good .Definately go back .

Respect : 0I got to Pontins, Blackpool and there was a smell in my chalet (shed) and the kids were disgusted too. I have a 13 year old and a 11 year old and the pool felt cold to me, the staff appeared to me to be too, and it was a horrible experience, but i am very glad i went so i know what it is like and can't go back again!

Respect : 0Good points, leaving. Bad points, Car vandalised, food poor, chalet dirty, Pantomime, poor entertainment, lack of bar staff. I would never go back to any Pontins site. I am currently in contact with them for my money back

Respect : 0I stayed with my partner and son at Pontins Blackpool for three nights and we had an absolutely fantastic time. The chalet was clean and tidy, food was great with an excellent choice for breakfast and evening meal. My son is 5 and had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the shows etc. Would definitely go again.

Respect : 0Have just returned from a Pontins holiday gold break and thought it was great. We did upgrade from a basic to club chalet the first chalet being a bit cramped with having bunk beds in as well as the double bed. We found the food great and the dining room staff very friendly. The airport is close by but not as noisy as people said it was. The bus stop is right outside the main gate, a bus every 15 mins and the same back to the camp. We will visit again next year just hope the weather is better.

Respect : 0After reading some dire reviews regarding Pontins Blackpool, I regretted booking it and all the way down to Blackpool my heart was in my boots! On arrival I checked fairly quickly and went in hunt of our chalet. After searching the area for about half an hour, we eventually found out accommodation. I can honestly say I was utterly appalled!! Respect : 0We as a family have been going to Pontins for what was always a good holiday until this year. I have never witnessed dirt like it before. The carpets were disgusting we had to use slippers at all times. There was no help from the reception staff. I wrote a letter when I came home and I didn't get a very good letter back all as it said was that I didn't report it to the reception but I did. Respect : 0We had been to Pontins Blackpool in May 2008 and it was O K. Basic but clean and acceptable. We went again in September but this time got room 746. It was disgusting, filthy, threadbare carpet, stained walls, disgusting bathroom and generally very squalid. We had to join a long queue of money back seekers to get a refund. Respect : 0We stayed at Pntins in October 2007 as we have a dancing championships there each year. Its the first year I've been and have read a lot of bad reviews. I was surprised when I got there to find a clean liveable chalet. Then off to dinner there was a wide selection of food available. The clubs are well sized and there bikes etc for hire.
