We paid £254 for a 2 night break which was a last minute booking with a saving of £270, when we arrived iat Reighton Sands initial thoughts were its ok.

we hired a superior plus caravan which was diabolical! they provided us with a travel cot which had moldy food inside it! and when i complained about it on leaving they had the nerve to say what do you want me to do about it now your leaving!
the beach was disgusting rubbish everywhere, the on site shop was unbelievably expensive and full of junk food nothing healthy what so ever.
yes you may read the odd review saying its an alright place but by who's standards!?
I am in the process of writing a complaint to head office and complaining to trading standards.

We paid £224 for a Prestige caravan for 4 nights. Initial impressions were that it was very clean and tidy. The check in procedure was a doddle... literally 4 mins and we were in... we were given directions to our plot and when we arrived it was a little cramped for parking space but we couldn't fault the caravan itself. It was absolutely fantastic... an absolute bargain. Steer clear of Bridlington (too busy parking wise) and Filey (too small) but make an effort to go to Scarborough which ...

Haven Holidays, Reighton Sands is the he worst park we have stayed at. The pool was restricted so we could not use at certain tiomes am and pm. The staff were not organised, the linen was requested 2 times and wrong each time. The entertainment and food was lousy. One positive....... the walk down to the beach was nice with good views on the beach. The beach road was very steep and i would not recommend this for the elderly.

we go to haven holiday parks all the time camping. This was the worse park i have attended. Not only did the toilets stink, but the staff in the swimming pool were very rude.
we did not only que for 40 mintues to have a family swim but then when we discovered there was only 30 lockers for for 75 swimmers, i asked my partner to take my bag to the car with my valuables in, so i did not have to leave it unattended. He was gone 5 minutes and when he returned, after me and my children had got changed ...

I have never bothered writing any reviews before , but read loads , especially when going on holiday !!! But i feel i must have my say on Haven Holidays Reighton Sands , we thought it was a dump and just hope we never stay anywhere like it again . When i read other peoples reviews that thought it was OK to me beggars believe . My family had booked for a week but only managed 2 nights . I don,t know where to start really but will have a go , 1-the toilets were shocking (we were in a tent) 2-the s ...

Haven Holidays, Reighton Sands was a nice site with friendly staff. We were touring and found the toilets to be clean, tidy and stocked up with plenty of loo roll! my kids (both under 2) liked the picnic with bradley bear and at £3.50 each i think it is worth the money. There was an outdoor play area with swings and slides, even baby swings which suprised me although the under 5's play area is like a postage stamp. Can not comment on evening entertainment as kids in bed at that time but th ...

We have just come back from a week at Reighton Sands and we absolutely loved it! We have 2 children aged 8 and 5 and they especially enjoyed the trips to the beach during the day and the night time entertainment with the funstars.
Myself and my husband had a great time too, we didn't want to leave! The only fault we could find was that there was not enough bar staff in the show bar at night, this meant lengthy waits :(
Apart from that, a great holiday for all the family :)

the campsite itself at Reighton Sands was very windy but this is what you would expect on a clif top! the facilities were very near to hand and the general maintence of them was ok. the shop and funworks bar is very overpriced, could not afford more than 2 nights out for this reason.

Have stayed at Haven Holidays, Reighton Sands many times enjoy the site so much have bought 2 caravans, regarding one viewers comments on cleanliness of van they stopped in why didnt they report it back to reception, the site is on a sloping toward cliff so why be surprised the camping field isnt flat? And as for the wind thats not the sites fault. Prices in the shop yes they are more expensive but arent they always at all sites. As for the over priced drinks jug of lager (4 pints) under £1 ...

Haven Holidays, Reighton Sands was a good value weekend. Accommodation fine for family of 4 and a dog. Entertainment just average, but the walks locally were great. Get the bus to Filey and walk back along the beach - allow 1.5 hrs to get back but on a good day it's a cracking walk. Staff very helpful. Excellent "tractor-bus" service from the site down to the beach and back.

Reighton Sands, Haven Holidays, is ok fairly good class family holiday accomodation. Hice tent area, not far to walk to the toilet block and showers. Bad points were code for toiletson a slope on a cliff (no fences to keep you safe)

Haven Holidays, Reighton Sands is excelent for quiet family holiday. Some entertainment for all. A good site for dog owners. Constant improvements. Plenty of good dog walking. Great beach. Poor parking on changeover days

Not sure if we will visit again, the caravan itself spoiled our stay not the camp itself, we cut our holiday short and came home. The reception staff were lovely. My 6yr old grandson was even counting the days to come home as he fell out of bed twice as the beds were so narrow.

Well I that was the worse places I have been. This was our first camping trip and I wouldn't go back to Reighton Sands even if it was free. The pitches were steep, poorly managed, dirty and very windy. The 'entertainment' complex itself is very poor, and don't have much for the kids apart from arcades. The play park was poorly maintained, paints on the play area are fading and you can tell that they haven't been seen to for at least 10 years. The pool was absolutely disgusting, the kids were re ...

This was our first hol in the UK and will be our last as we ended up spending more that if we had gone abroad!

The entertainment was all geared for children (which is good if you have them!). There was four adults and we were charged £92 for 4 funworks passes just to use the bar and then found out that there was a gate that was left open in the garden to allow people in without paying!!
We found very little entertainment for adults.

Too be honest I was not expecting much as I was just away with my friend and her children on a £9.50 sun holiday, you make the most of what you have, we thought the park was very clean and maintained, bit pricey on the drinks and food etc.
I have not been to a haven site in years and was dreading it but I had never been to Scarborough and fancied a change. We were only staying for 3 nights and did actually enjoy our stay. For £9.50 each we got a bargain, plus the weather was really n ...

Well, the field which was allocated for tent pitches was in the worse possible place, at the very top of the hill, just in line for the extremely strong winds what blast the coast, the edge of this is suffering coastal erosion but yet has absolutely no fencing or warning that you are close to the edge, (in case of coming home while its dark). We pitched quite out of the way from others when we got there for some privacy, but went out on the Saturday morning came back 3 hours later to find us alm ...
