This is the best haven I have been to so far on a par with butlins for sheer entertainment value its Devon cliffs without the cliffs! (haven't been there but it looks the best).
Luckily we were in a silver bungalow which was only round the corner from the main venues but the site is huge so others had long walks to venue.
Going back in October for half term so I would definitely recommend going.

Our caravan at Presthaven Sands Haven Holiday Park had no smoke alarm - it was smashed on the floor. All the mattresses on the beds were disgusting and stained. The smell in the so called dining area was beyond description, and the whole area was absolutely filthy. The carpet was so dirty you could not walk without shoes, and we had to cover the seating with our clean dog throws to enable us to sit down. We asked for someone to come and see this caravan, but nobody came. When we arrived we ...

After a close family bereavement I felt my daughter & I needed a well deserved break. I booked a short break at Presthaven Sands as I got a really good late deal. I was a tad wary as I'd never been to this site before. Upon arrival I was impressed almost straight away. The staff were very friendly & it seemed clean & well kept. I only booked a standard caravan, it was basic but clean & in a nice location on the park, just a short walk from the entertainment complex & the beach. After a few hours ...

Haven Holidays Presthaven Sands - We weren't really planning another holiday but felt the need to unwind so browsed the Haven website for a 4 night break. We were amazed to find exactly that on June 27th for the bargain price of £64 including passes to all the entertainment, staying in a 3 star caravan. When we arrived, the caravan was full of ants! We complained and someone was sent round within 10 minutes to spray insecticide. The caravan was basic and not that clean to be honest. The ba ...

Presthaven Sands
We've been a bit skint this year what with one thing and another so a foreign holiday was out of the question, but I really like my holidays so I refused to go without one. I went on a mission to find a cheap holiday in this country and trawled through the internet and leafed through tons of brochures to find the ideal cheap family break. I didn't fancy staying in a B & B or a hotel but a caravanning holiday quite appealed to me. I've stayed in a few caravans in the past and en ...

Overall I had a very good holiday and I am going back very soon for a long weekend. We traveled on the train and it was a very good journey but some of our party went by car and got very lost as the sign post for the park is not very clear. My son had the time of his life and he liked it better than our holiday in Benidorm (I do prefer a bit of sun).

Overall Presthaven Sands is a good family friendly park, plenty of activities, three pools, beach access, kids clubs (all ages), grocery shop/bakery ,loads of night time entertainment,15 mins drive from Rhyl, amusements, bike hire, good friendly staff, fast food outlets, Sportszone and go carts were good. The beach is accessed through the sand dunes and is great; you can walk for miles in either direction. From Glasgow it's a 4 hour drive, I recommend it!

Haven Holidays Presthaven Sands - Been twice so far, first time in 2003 with a car, this enabled us to escape camp and travel a bit further afield. Second time, no car (gearbox failure a week before) felt a bit trapped.
The site itself is clean and I think its being renovated gradually.
The pools are clean and safe but aren't open enough.
Food's okay, there's Buffalo Joes in the main centre, fish and chip shop (bit pricey though), Oasis Diner -- good meals with a proper chef.
There's also a ...
