Good Points: Good location friendly staff with good evening entertainment. Reception were responsive with complaints.

General comments: Considering the cost, we felt that very little of our money was being put back into the park. We went in a family group of 46 with 8 caravans so I feel can give a general overview. All the Caravans were shabby, dirty and had seen better days. The appliances varied, some had microwaves, and some had toasters but there was noting uniform. We insisted that several of our vans were re-cleaned due to them being dirty. e.g., dirty windows, stained carpets, mud up walls, grim and hairs all over the bathrooms and toilets. This view was echoed through the park as we often heard other holidaymakers moaning about the state of the Caravans. The Caravans are set so close together you could hear the constant thumping drown of people walking and even conversations. The mattress was really poor quality with what felt like just a sheet over the springs. Everything was so expensive and we felt that they were ripping off their captive audience. The main campus section was too small to deal with the volume of Caravans the park offered, which was disappointing. The main function room was full within 5 minutes of opening, with standing room only and the pool was always packed like sardines.

I think the park itself could do with a lick of paint here and there, but I can't fault any of the ground level staff on the park. I am sure the constant caravan sell, sell, sell is the same as other Haven parks but I found this was really in our face. The additional costs for a family to spend an evening at the Showbar makes it an expensive thing but I would highly recommend going along to see the hard work the Funstars put in, they made my holiday special for both my niece and I.

Haven at Weymouth Bay was OK, but I went with a party of 20 (4 families) and we all booked a superior caravan, but when we got there 3 of our families ended up with standard, and the other one had a massive caravan with 3 rooms a big fridge and freezer ,huge settee and microwave, whereas the rest of us only had two rooms and no microwave, and the caravan was half the size. When we complained the reception told us she had standard and we had superior.. if this is the true case, book a standard th ...

We had a very enjoyable holiday 30th July 4 days. Grand children loved it we have just come back from Kiln Park. I think it gets worse every time we go. Not very helpful staff but we expected that. What they have done to the complex is not very good and because of this we will be going to Weymouth bay from now on.

The caravan that we stayed in was apparently an upgraded one, but it was so dirty! Really disappointed as this is not the first Haven Park that we have stayed in, but definitely the most dirty and the poorest in terms of accommodation

There is something about Weymouth that has you hooked the people are lovely great nightlife and the fact no one has ever forgotten who I am especially the Chinese takeaway. I love it and haven't got a bad word to say about it. So to all those people who say it wasn't up 2 scratch next time you go stand back and actually take it all in, the fantastic views, great people and the fact that it will never change unlike some places ie Blackpool.

Having read past reviews I thought that my deal of the year (2 days 4 star at haven for 60 pound) was a bad deal but I must say i'm very pleased. We arrived at Weymouth bay (in Preston near Weymouth) as the local road signs were very poor but when we found the site I went and booked in all straight forward stuff big smiles and a little pack with information on how to buy a holiday home and then the entertainment guide and keys to the caravan. Now let me tell you I don't do planes or boats so ou ...

need to put very expensive caravans like the gold and silver ones all together in a more exclusive area than the cheap and cheerful ones.

I went to Weymouth Bay, Haven holiday park in August with my mum and dad, and also my friend. When we first saw our caravan we were all like "wow" because of the wide screen TV, and the fact that it was bigger than anyone thought, but the cleaners made us wait outside while they did last minute cleaning, and one of them had a cigarette in his hand, which was a bit annoying. The place seemed big, but when everyone is in it it's too cramped, and it also has a funny smell to it too. (Now I'm no ...

The integration system of caravans at Weymouth Bay Haven Holiday Park means you can pay far more for a gold caravan, but be in the worst location in the park because they feel they should not have any class discrimination. So Joe Bloggs paying next to nothing for the most basic caravan will have the lst laugh when he finds he in the top position on site. Staff were very unhelpful.

On the whole we had a great August week at Weymouth Bay Haven Holiday Park. The caravan was excellent, and we used every facility there; including the launderette which was all modern. The food and the staff in the restaurant were great, as was the size of the meals. Weymouth itself is a 5 minute drive, but I would recommend the Park and Ride from the Sealife Centre, as finding a parking space in town was a pain. I can't wait to go back next year.

We chose Sandymouth Bay with haven Holidays, because it looked lovely in the brochure. However when we arrived, I sat and cried, as there was hardly anything there. The club was small, the diner was OK, but again small. The adventure playground was more like a park, with 2 baby swings, 2 older children's swings, and a few other climbing things. Not at all what we would call an adventure playground. The walk to the beach was awful! We had our 4 children with us on this holiday, ages 1, 3 ...

From the very start our experience at Weymouth Bay was memorable and thoroughly enjoyable from the offset. The entertainment and care team staff at the park were always helpful and friendly and prepared to guide you to events and outside interests. However, if I could whinge about anything it would be the miserable bar staff. Bringing the light back into my review I would recommend this haven site to anyone looking for a decent value for money complex. The whole atmosphere at the park is gre ...

I think that Weymouth Bay Holiday Park is the best holiday I have ever been on....and I've been on a few. When we left I felt like I wanted to go back right away. The Funstars are great, the Tiger club and T-co (for teenagers) is great as it gives adults time for themselves. Great Park!
