Good Points: The view from the veranda onto the beach was beautiful!
Bad Points: The exclusive caravan was nothing like what we were expecting, compared to what we were lead to believe in the Haven brouchure! very disapionted.
General comments: Genrally disapionted! luckily we had a car to get out of the site and see the rest of Cornwalls gorgeous coastline.

What flagship means is old, tired and shabby. I paid good money for an exclusive caravan expecting new, clean and refreshing, only the view was refreshing. I do not think the exclusive caravan had been cleaned properly ever!!!!! Mouldy shower, mountains of dust in and around fire, filthy fingerprints all over the windows and mirrors, shabby uncomfortable settee's, stains on carpets, very uncomfortable beds. I could go on forever and that is just the caravan. Now the site itself needs knockin ...

I wouldn't say that 6 hour drive there and back was justified and though it was a safer enviroment for our kids than Devon Cliffs it still fell short of the overall quality at Devon Cliffs last year.
That said the beach is wonderful, just wish the weather had allowed us on it a bit more. The chip shop was also excellent and the main thing of course, the kids enjoyed it.
I do appreciate the weather played a big part in our perceptions and would add that that the outdoor play areas were fine and ...

Location fantastic everything else was very below average. Lot of noisy teenagers and hoodies hanging around adventure playground intimidating younger kids. A week at Riviere Sands or a week in an inner city sink estate? Mmm.....not a lot of difference in my opinion.

I just come back from a holiday at Rivierre sands and I loved it. Normally I hate Cornwall cause I don't think its worth a 6 hour journey but now I want to move to Riviere Sands its Great. The Funstars seem to work well together as if they have known each other for a long time. The Entertainment was amazing, the Funstar and character shows were put together really well. I also enjoyed a day out to Penzance and Lands end.
But Reviere sands is the best Haven site just beating Devon Cliffs.

We travelled for 4 and a half hours from Salisbury to Riviere Sands and it was worth it. The views were stunning and the sun was shining when we arrived. The staff were pleasant and we were given the keys to our standard 3 bedroom caravan. It was booked through the sun newspaper promotion and we paid the extra £15 for a third bedroom which was worth it. It was a very nice caravan and had been cleaned and was well presented. We unpacked and later headed off to see the entertainment. The fu ...

We have just returned from a very enjoyable holiday in the Haven Riviere Sands park June 30th to July 5th 2008. The weather although windy was really warm (high 20's) and the atmosphere on the park was relaxed and friendly. We had no problems with any loud or disruptive holidaymakers and security teams were seen to be patrolling the park often which gave us a real sense of safety. The park was clean well laid out and easy to navigate. When we arrived in the park we were too early to check in but ...

We stayed at Haven's Riviere Sands for a week in September and had a brilliant time. After unloading all our things into the caravan which was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed we took a walk to the beach which is only down the road (turn right out of the entrance to the caravan site) and were amazed by the lovely white sand and turquoise sea, almost felt like we were abroad. We spent a couple of evenings at the Bluff Inn which has amazing views over the beach and our young da ...

This was our second visit to Riviere Sands as well. The caravan we stayed in was 4 star & very clean and spacious. Our caravan was quite close to the club house but we didn't find it noisy. The staff were very jolly & friendly, particularly the maintenance guys & the receptionists. The caravan park is in a great location, close to local attractions & just minutes walk to Hayle beach, which has lovely sandy beaches for about 3 miles with terrific views. I would definitely recommend this park.

This was our second visit to Riviere Sands and it was fantastic we stayed from June 2nd till June 16th 2007.
The weather was glorious and there was so much to do. The beach was very clean and it felt like we were abroad.
Our caravan was a Gold and was in very good condition and seemed to be thoroughly cleaned.
Follies on-site club was great, the children loved it and the Funstars made us all feel welcome the kids especially loved the bingo and dancing in the dark
Cornwall is an absolutely be ...

The caravan I stayed in at the Riviere Sands Haven holiday park has got to be the filthiest caravan I have stayed in, and it was a 'luxury' silver. There were no knives, missing duvet, saucepan handle off, no stool for table, no baking tray... Need I go on? The site is noisy, with loud music from caravans and unsupervised tots running in the road etc. I have stayed on lots of sites, and I have never complained before, but after going there, particularly with the prices they charge, I think they ...

We enjoyed our week at the Riviere Sands Haven holiday park overall, but we did have brilliant weather. The camp was OK, but the Gold caravan was not the best we have stayed in, and it was not cleaned satisfactorily. We had an invasion of ants, due, I think to the crumbs left on the furniture by the previous occupants which were not cleaned up properly.

We went to Riviere Sands Haven Holiday Park on the May Day weekend on a last minute offer, and stayed in a silver caravan. The situation and interior of this was lovely, and overall the only thing letting it down was The Bluff Inn.
We would definitely go there again!!

We went to Riviere sands last June through the Sun newspaper offer. We stayed five nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Whether we would have enjoyed it so much if the weather was bad I don't know as we spent every day down on the beautiful beach. Most nights we went to the showbar which has good entertainment for the kids but beware as you can spend an absolute fortune on drinks. My tip is to retire to the caravan quite early with a crate of beer!! We stayed in a bronze caravan which given its age ...

Went to Riviere Sands at end of April. Was hot on day 1 and 2 but as we all know, whether can change in this country very quickly. The rest of the week was horrific with force 8 gales and squally showers. Our caravan was overlooking the cliffs and I thought it was going to take off!! Made sleeping and watching tv very uncomfortable. At one point, I could not open the door to go out!! The site is a bit old now and needs refreshing. It lacks decent food outlets and the small shop needs to wake up ...
