Booked a 4 day break through The Sun Holiday scheme with my 2 young children and had paid extra for a 'luxury plus' caravan. On arrival we were dealt with quickly and efficiently by friendly staff but that unfortunately where the good bits ended. Our caravan was set in a large block (pine ridge) and very close together it looked quite small and very dirty on the outside the windows were absolutely filthy. Inside the cleanliness was too bad but the furniture etc were very dated and had seen… Read Full Review

My 11 year old daughter, her friend,my father and myself recently returned from visiting Primrose Valley where we had a fantastic holiday and would definately like to go back to. We stayed in a 3 bedroom superior caravan where the rooms were clean, although you had to pay extra to get your beds made upon arrival. A small downside to the caravan was that the rooms were fairly small and it didn't have much space for our clothes. The site itself is huge and contained 4 pools, one was a big pool… Read Full Review

We arrive back yesterday from Primrose Valley, we had a lovely holiday, but on arrival we found our caravan gruby and the carpets still wet, so they changed the caravan ( we stayed in a platinum caravan) this caravan was still not as clean as I expected but they sent someone to clean this up.
other than this we really enjoyed the holiday, the park was great lots to do ( some at an extra cost) food was good especially the pizza. shop is a Spar so the same cost as anywhere.

Everthing on the site was overpriced and there didn't seem to be any activities that were included in the holiday price, other than the small swimming pools which only made money on the lockers.

We have been going to PV for many years, and although we still love the place we feel it has lost some of its personal touch, and become expensive in some areas ie fish and chips at five pounds ninety five, when you can go to nearby Filey and get quality for just over four pounds.
