July 2009 Good week, nice caravan and clean. Wild Duck park small and woodland setting.Entertainment was good for the children and the Circus acts were good also. Bingo on too early and if you went after 6.30 often couldn't get a seat. Swimming pool closed too early and was small.
Adult entertainment adequate, much better at other Haven sites we have stayed at.
Staff friendly and helpful, bar and food prices on par with elewhere.
Would go again!Plenty to do off site in Gt Yarmouth and surrounding area.

Disgusting caravan. Paid for a superior plus but got a worse caravan than friends who had paid for one you could take a dog into. Carpet in lounge was so filthy we didn't dare take our shoes off, and we had to wash everything in the kitchen, even cups still had drink stains in. We had to go to reception 3 times to ask for pillows before they were brought to us. When we complained about van nobody was interested and letter which came after we had arrived home, said our friends had maybe gotten a ...

2 adults and a 9 yr old stayed 4 nights, Easter 09. Very nice Park. Spacious feel to it and the woodland setting is lovely at the Haven Holidays, Wild Duck. Very happy with the Prestige caravan, few minor niggles dealt with very quickly. Plenty to keep kids occupied. If I were to give it a hotel type star rating I would say a good quality 3* would be about right. So, if you go expecting a 5* accomodation you will be dissapointed but with realistic expectations you should be very satisfied.

Just arrived back from Easter break 4 nights at Wild Duck. This is the smallest and quietest Haven site we've stopped in. It suited us perfectly because has a family we enjoy the out doors and walking. We didn't take the childrens bikes and I wish we had. I recommend that you do because it's very flat. The caravan was the cleanest we've ever had. I normally have to wash everything down! There were just a few gadgets missing and staff quickly rectified this! It's very funny but we too wer ...

This park was very clean, staff very helpful. but not a lot to do for the kids. The indoor and outdoor pools are very far apart and closed at 5pm. The entertainment was not great and everything was spread out because the park is very hilly so everything was down hills, on top of hills and just basically all over the place. There were two "clubs" if you can call the second one a club and they were both 5 mins walk from each other. It is a very small park with not a lot to do. I would not visit ba ...

Nice warm swimming pool. Clean resort, clean big caravans, staff very friendly. The jolly fryer was disgusting, the entertainment was very poor quality but ok for the small children, caravans were freezing at night, convenience store very expensive

The swimming pools were nice and clean, and there was some good bars. We have been to the Wild Duck several times before, and we were quite disappointed with the evening entertainment compared to previous years. The children's entertainment went on too late and everything was rushed. It was just one thing then onto the next. Also the indoor swimming pool shut to early, because if you went out for the day and came back to go for a swim you couldn't. Previous parks we have been to have been open a ...

Great site for family's with young children (age 2 and 4). The staff are great and everyone makes you welcome. We take our tent and the touring facilities are everything you need and are cleaned regularly. The evening entertainment, the kids love and we tolerate but we only ever get to see the kiddy stuff as girlls are in bed for 9pm. PAWS club for 1-4 great for us. Not found anyone else other than centre parc that cater for tots. We are tenting there four times this year alone, we love it, hom ...

Plenty to do locally. Go to theme park Pleasurewood Hillls and see the shows they were brilliant. The beaches are nice especially when it is not too crowded. The holiday park is clean and staff are always helpful. The Jolly Fryer served lovely fish and chips and was reasonably priced. The caravan was clean and spacious and enjoyed our stay in it. Loved the swimming pool and doing aqua jets. Caravan freezing at night in bedrooms. No microwave in caravan as stated but we didn't miss it. Not much f ...

Well done and a big thank you to Emma and her reception staff who saved my families holiday from being destroyed, following a 7 day booking at the Park Resort site up the road, if it wasn't for those girls, we would have gone home 5 days early.
They listened to our plight and helped us out.
We enjoyed the stay so much that we booked an extra day.

No doubt we will be back to this site and will be telling all our friends and family.

    Thanks again!

I came to the Wild Duck with my two children aged 1 and 3 years of age and they both loved it. The staff were great with the children and they were made to feel very welcome. The entertainment was great for the kids and the husband and we got a very good deal. We stayed in a Luxury Silver Caravan, there was 8 of us in total and it was large enough for all of us and very clean. I am about to book to go to another Haven Holiday.

Haven Holidays Wild Duck is a great site if you have small children and want a Haven site with all the usual favourites but without it being too big. The campsite had a very large toilet and shower block which was clean and had plenty of hot water. Also had a good washing up area with a freezer to freeze ice packs, and a decent sized laudry. The club, pool etc were 5 mins walk from camp site. Club was excellent - nice size - excellent entertainment - Funstars staff were the best I have seen. ...

I DID own a caravan at Haven Holidays Wild Duck for 4 years, the 1st year was brilliant the kids loved it and so was the second, but the 3rd and 4th went down hill. The entertainment was rubbish and same with the food. The staff were quite rude. I was disappointed with the last 2 years of my stay.

Ok!!! The crew,Shows..... the 3 shows the crew put on where good the first one was rock the second well that was mixed 50s 60s 70s 80s and 90s. but the third was the best of them all swing it was called and like others I thorght it was good ok its hard work and the four people that did all the shows worked hard . but the site I found a let down not a place I will be revisiting but this dosn't mean I wont use haven again as it would be unfair to tarnish all the camps with the same brush. shop o ...
