I went to Devon Cliffs with my daughter and partner on 7th September 2009 with the Sun and we have just booked to go again - 23rd October.
I have a 22 Month daughter and she has never had so much fun. We thought it was fantastic from the morning activities to the night shoes where my daughter could join in. She was amazed with the show each night and loved dancing with all the other childred. The pool is huge. My daughter loved every minute of the holiday. She is still asking to go do the caravan. A* cant fault it will be going every year now.

just got back from a 3 night break at Devon Cliffs.
First impresions of the site when we arived on Friday were very good.
The park is large and hilly, although we were lucky enough to have a caravan (which had been upgraded) that was a reasonable distance from the complex.
The caravan was a 3 birth, was very clean and a suitable size for 3 adults and 2 children (8 & 5).
The layout of the park was as expected, and it was no coincidence that the arcades were in the centre of the complex which you ...- Read Guest's review (155 words)

Just got back from a 3 night long weekend at Devon Cliff's. Brilliant time, (mind you the weather helped) lots to do but recommend buying the entertainment passes in advance to save a few extra pennies. Our van was clean and tidy although needed the fire on in the morning, but then what do you expect in september. The site is very hilly though and I now have a bad back from carrying my son up the hill to get back to our van. The one thing I didnt like was having to go through the arcade to get i ...- Read Guest's review (176 words)

Over the years have been to several caravan parks, but Devon Cliffs was the first Haven holiday we had. Been on holiday in the first week of September for 4 nights. Was initially skeptical having read several unfavourable reviews on this site.
Was an absolutely fabulous holiday. The accommodation was brilliant and to very high specs, the park was clean with loads of activities for all age ranges particularly kids. Staff are very friendly and approachable. The games and entertainment can get a ...- Read Winster Dsouza's review (122 words)

Booked with the sun holidays really good value ONLY £60 POUNDS FOR THREE PEOPLE FOR THREE NIGHTS. Funworks is very good (maybe a bit expensive) We had the standard caravan and was very clean except for what looked like dog hairs on the duvet. Gas ran out one morning called them up THEY WERE QUIET I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THAT THEY HAD DONE IT! Also they came round in ten minutes. I think the other reviews are been a harsh. I would recommend Haven Holidays, Devon Cliffs to anybody. GO ON GIVE IT A ...- Read Guest's review (95 words)

I went to Devon Cliffs last year with my best friend and her family. When we arrived, the check-in process was very quick and simple. When we arrived at the caravan it was extremely clean. The entertainment there was amazing, thanks to the funstars. Also, the staff there are very polite and friendly as well as being incredibly helpful. We stayed there for 2 weeks and was worth it. I would recommend the holiday to anyone i know that enjoys haven holidays. I hope to go back there again next year a ...- Read Guest's review (131 words)

Had many doubts about going to a holiday park as we usually book a cottage. My fears were confirmed on arrival at devon cliffs. Check in was not were sign posted and although the staff were ok, I didn't appreciate having to fight our way, with two tired children, through a heaving amusment arcade full of pushy rude people, to a temporary check in area in a dining area. Then having to reverse the process to get back to the car, taking a second detour to pick up laundery from virtually where we'd ...- Read Guest's review (323 words)

WORST HOLIDAY EVER!!! We went for a week (end aug 09) with 2 young children, aged 5 and 2 and left 4 days early. We booked with haven as the brochure had plenty to do listed for the children. However when you get there you realise there are age restrictions on most things. Our toddler couldnt go on the indoor play area as there was a height restriction and the outdoor playarea was more suited to those above 4. The whole place was filthy, in the first 2 days we changed caravans 3 times and the ca ...- Read Guest's review (169 words)

From reading some of the reviews on this site, my wife and I were both very apprehensive about our holiday especially after what some people had said about the campsite as we were camping. Upon arrival our minds were put at ease, the campsite is huge and you can pith anywhere you like which was ideal as we had our 5 month old baby with us and wanted somewhere quiet. The toilets and showers are in portacabins, but were very clean and well maintained, and considering we went in peak season, were n ...- Read Guest's review (305 words)

Just come back from Haven, Devon Cliffs very nice site. Very hilly, security door staff to clubs were very helpful as im in a wheelchair but the security on the main gate could be more cheerful. Caravan clean and tidy, shops reasonable price, drinks in bar reasonable price. Alot of amusements and staff friendly. Lovely sandy beach with life guards near by, live bands and stand up comedian were great. Reception staff very helpful, slopes and lifts in side complex for wheelchairs and buggys. Fish/ ...- Read Guest's review (100 words)

Was a bit apprehensive about Haven devon cliffs due to the many bad reviews i had read.We went the begining of august lots of caravans and lots of kids.Overall we had quite a pleasent stay, swimming pool was never busy and it was clean. The beach was handy being on the doorstep and you always found a slot without sitting on peoples laps. The park changed a bit at night it was rather noisy with people coming home from the clubs.Would i go again i doubt it,this was just a little too hetic for my lik ...- Read Guest's review (108 words)

On the Website this parc looked amazing but in reality it was dirty, over crowded and under staffed.
My husband and I took our 2 year old son hoping there would be plenty for him to do, one of the activities for the under 4's group was to decorate a cake/biscuit. This turned out to be a digestive biscuit on the table on which they could squeeze on a bit of icing and a handful of hundred and thousands!! Do they not know a two year old would not sit still on a chair for a start and would ...- Read Guest's review (183 words)

For the last 3 years we have been to a Haven site, the previous 2 years we went to Golden Sands in Mablethorpe and thoroughly enjoyed it so this year we thought we would try somewhere different. As Devon Cliffs is Havens "flagship park" we thought we would try it. It looked spectacular in the brochure and we were really looking forward to it. What a disappointment! The park itself is far too big, too many caravans for the size of the entertainment complex. The pools were excellent however althou ...- Read Guest's review (801 words and 2 comments)

We booked a week camping last year. We were greeted by a camping field that looked more like a landfill site where the rubbish was mixed in with a sea of mud. All the skips were full and the toilets were filthy. Whilst the caravan park was clean, nobody listened to our complaints and those of our fellow campers.I put up with the squalour for two days and was refused a refund. Since then we bought a caravan at Greenacres park in North Wales, oh joy what a difference, again a Haven site but a tota ...- Read Guest's review (106 words)

Haven Devon cliffs caravan park,Worst waste of money holiday we've ever been on.
The description in the brochure is very misleading, we were debating between a Haven holiday, which we had never been on before and renting a cottage,we so wish we had taken the cottage!,the reason we decided on the Haven holiday was the promise of kids clubs and entertainment, well the kids clubs are a joke,1 hour of badly organised games in the morning for the 5-11 year olds, and about 10 mins colouring with 1 sta ...- Read Guest's review (260 words)

Went to Devon Cliffs for a sun break Sept 2008 and are going again in Sept this year with the Mail holidays. Am wriitng this after reading some of the reviews on this site which in my opinion are a little unfair. The location of the site is really good and I thought that the entertainment complex was well planned out - the bars were what you would expect them to be at a complex such as this. We used this site as a base . Foud the site clean, quiet at night, caravan was clean, could have done w ...- Read ja22's review (181 words)
