Good Points: Very good reliable engine , Extra thick comfy seats plenty of boot space and plenty of legroom upfront also added bonus having the power steering

Bad Points: I really thought that the car would disapoint but I would happily have another td Maestro again - loved it !

General comments: Was a bit dubious at first having driven a bmw 520se but due to it being writtenoff was offered the maestro TD at a good price , 1 Previous owner and a late 94 model I was so pleased with the overall performance from the gutsy Rover Maestro 2.0TD Engine and being a 6ft 4" driver had plenty of room

I have had every car from BMW's to Audi Quattros but these are the best cars I have ever found for every day driving, why can't the UK continue to make such green cars as these, they will run on diesel, bio fuel with no problems, use no complicated electronics or mechanics and have such low running costs.

Overall the Rover Maestro is a good, although now very dated car. Very durable engine. Goes forever! Good ride and reasonable handling. Good economy and interior space. Body quite durable and less rust prone than most other similar cars. Quite easy to repair.

Ok - its a rover you say ...well, if you had the petrol variants.....this diesel powered car is amazingly strong, pull off in 2nd gear no problem.....(3rd also - but I dont recommend it all the time unless you want to change the clutch)It also does at least 55 mpg around town or 65 on the motorway@60 mph. visibility it great all around the carand enough room for 5 adults. The body rusts on it tho which is typical of rover. Also typical of rover is the utterly AWFUL trim quality, I would doubt a ...
