Good Points: Beautifully balanced overall. Surprising bass (35Hz) for size. Sweet, extended treble and natural mids. Beautiful voice reproduction.
Bad Points: Can sound congested at very high levels. Treble tends to fall off off-axis.
General comments: The Kef Coda 8 stereo speakers are excellent value for money. I would have preferred a wood grain finish instead of black ash. Incredible sound for size... Needs high power to sound their best; 100wpc is not too much! Small size, huge sound. Well worth seeking out, even used.

Had these KEF Coda 8 speakers a number of years now, and now form part of a home cinema setup. They work well with music and movies coping well with whatever is asked of them. Perform better on stands than on wall brackets or any other flat surface.
