Good Points: It has a very high magnification, with fine adjustment looking up and down, comes with a moon filter and barlow lenses. It is fantastic for viewing the moon, and I have had some great views of the cloud belts on Jupiter, and you can even see its moons as tiny white dots. When Mars was close I also got a good view of that.
Bad Points: However, it did take a long time to get the planets in view, as whenever you try to focus or read just, you can very easily loose the object you are viewing if you are on a high magnification. Also unfortunately there is no left/right fine adjustment.
General comments: The Tasco luminova is a fantastic starter telescope. It provides crystal clear images of craters, ridges and faults. It also comes with a solar projection screen, which is great, but the lenses have to be spotless in order to use this.
