Good Points: I have used this model for some years now and have found it easy to use. It makes great raisin bread and the dough for rolls and pizza are good too.

    Bad Points: Handles rust.

General comments: Overall I have been please with my Morphy Richards breadmaker. Have not made much actual loaves of bread as I don't like the result very much but this is just a personal opinion. The problem I have had is after a while the paddles on the tin sieze up and rust. I have got through 2 of these now and they are not cheap to replace. I always clean my tin so it looks spotless but water must get down the paddle shaft and then rusts the metal pin that holds the paddle. I would look carefully next time at the paddle construction and anywhere where water could get in.

Wouldn't have the 48265 model bread maker from morphy richards again because the bread is so difficult to get out of the pan because it is not 'non-stick' enough.

Stewgould - I have just received this model as a gift, but without an instruction manual. Could you contact me, as I really need a copy to get going? robin.turton@nhs.net

I have used the Morphy Richards 48265 for 3 years now and never really got to grips with actually making a loaf. Dough - fine, for cooking in the oven, but bread, not so. The paddles leave enormous holes in the base of the loaf.
