Rivercrest Chenin Blanc is far and away my favourite white at the moment. It's affordable (around £5 a bottle), easy to find (Tescos carries it), and is nicely dry and refreshing. It's crisp and fruity and slightly tart and doesn't have the apple-y overtones that other whites have (particularly the Italian ones) that make it impossible for me to drink more than a glass. When we need a white wine to go with a dish (or on a hot day) we usually go for this one as it's easy going down and tastes nice with fish or chicken, or on its own.
