Good Points: Very like the real .38 special, both in initial looks, and the realistic weighting.

Bad Points: none that I can think of.

General comments: O.K.! From the first opening of the box, I was amazed by the realistic look and weight of the gun. This little revolver holds nicely in the palm, and is a pleasure to shoot. Chambering each BAC round individually only increases the idea that you are about to shoot a genuine firearm. In fact, shoot the ME38 in a garage or hallway, and you get the terrific 'crack' of the muzzle which almost sounds as loud as a .22 rimfire round... just similar enough to get you wanting more! The only downside for me, was the 'Slim Jim' handpump. While it does what it's supposed to, it takes 5-8 pumps to fill each BAC cartridge, so for every 5 rounds, your arms and shoulders will receive a hefty workout! That aside, this revolver is one of the best you will find for the cash outlay. Anyone wanna buy my mint condition kit? email humperdingler@hotmail.com!

A budget Brocock plinker. NOT very accurate but good fun with a great weight and balance. Trigger action is awful, heavy and stiff but it's a good cheap entry into Brocock's range and later you can trade up for something better. Like ALL C02, etc these pistols are only good for plinking or practical pistol shooting. They are hopless for accurate distance target work. Even the long barrelled Smiths are poor for any true distance. DON'T believe the reviews that rave on about accuracy. They m ...

An excellent bit of kit if you can get your hands on one. Powerfull accurate and cheaper than its big brother the Orion. Get one before the government crack down on the sales of the Brocock's or you will regret it. Mine had a problem when I bought it and Brocock fixed it within a week, great aftersales service.

the gun is small, and heavy, and feels like a real firearm. it oozes quality and because its more of a plinker, the sights are low profile (I dont know why because it has an external hammer) the trigger feels very nice, but it is heavy in double action mode (like all revolvers!)

it will be worthwhile investing in a single stroke pump and LOTS of shells, the slim jim pump is ok, but takes quite abit of effort to pump.
