“Nothing but overpriced junk”

Written on: 06/04/2014 by Harmonyx334 (1 review written)

Just another over hyped, celebrity endorsed scam. These pans are no better than your average non-stick from any retail outlet. For a family of four, expect 3-6 months before the pans are just another frypan. Will say the handles are good, but like most things nowdays, avoid like the plague… Read Full Review

“Fantastic cook ware”

Written on: 29/03/2014

I have stumbled onto this site & am somewhat surprised at the reviews, I am an ex chef and love my Jamie Oliver cook ware. The handles for a start permit you to hold the pans at the correct level when sauté . The pans , and pots are a good weight, conduct heat well and look smart. Of coarse the food grim, dirt, fats & oils and heat with help to darken the new look of the kitchen pots & pans but hey it is not silver ware being polished for the front of house every day by your servants I have… Read Full Review

“Jamie Oliver non-stick pan by Tefal”

Written on: 23/03/2014 by garyrowe (1 review written)

This product is useless and I would not recommend it to anyone. I have had the pan for about 3 years and the coating is absolutely useless in spite of using and cleaning it exactly as recommended in the accompanying booklet. Right from the start the coating was not very good, and I complained to Jamie Oliver and Tefal with no response. In my opinion the product is no better than any cheap alternative available… Read Full Review

“Disappointed To Say The Least!! Doesn't Even Deserve 1...”

Written on: 05/11/2013 by Jabl22 (1 review written)

Very disappointed with these pans. Bought just before Christmas last year but wish I'd seen these reviews before I bought them. Although the non-stick coating is fine (so far), the pans have discoloured badly on the outside. Never mind 10 months old they look 10 years old. Can't believe Jamie Oliver is still putting his name to these pans. Complained to Tefal direct and was told that whilst they say they are "dishwasher safe" apparently they are not "dishwasher proof" - clever word play!! When… Read Full Review

“I bought a Jamie Olive Tefal wok type of pan....”

Written on: 02/11/2013

I bought a Jamie Olive Tefal wok type of pan. Initially it was a good pan. Good and easy to use. The pan was used frequently sometimes 2-4 x a month. The coating has all bubbled up and broken, and is now unusuable. I did contact the Jamie Oliver site and although a reply stated they were busy, they never contacted me again. I am very disappointed with this item and would not recommend or buy another Jamie Oliver product… Read Full Review

“Tefal Casserole”

Written on: 18/05/2013 by jennybruce (1 review written)

Perfect size shape and function. However, after 2 years (not heavy) use, having never been put in the dishwasher, or scoured, the tefal coating is peeling off. So much so that it cannot be used as it is now a health hazard. Truly disappointed. Cost very definitely not justified… Read Full Review

“Good Cookware Quality and Affordable”

Written on: 15/04/2013 by Hallsyk (12 reviews written)

Having got this kit I must say the we are very please with it, the non stick pan are beautiful to see, great to handle and you can really see that they are top quality. We also bough the three piece stainless steel pan set which was just under £50 and I must say that the quality is amazing, Tefal have always been the best in this and this time are just as good… Read Full Review

“DANGEROUS”

Written on: 02/03/2013 by EileenMitchell (1 review written)

I bought a set of Hot stuff pans about 6 months ago. Why Jamie Oliver would put his name to this item is beyond belief. The lids and handles of these pans are so dangerous because they get so hot. The handle gets too hot for you to be able to take the lid off. The pans were quite expensive so why after only 6 months do they look old and tatty. Come on Jamie you're a great chef so why put your name to something that is dangerous and not fit for perpose… Read Full Review

Entirely agree. The handles on the lids are dangerous and can cause serious burns. Most other modern cookware have heat resistant handles or they are well insulated from the hot lid itself. These ones are not. Very very disappointed with this aspect of the saucepan we have just bought.

“GUARANTEE USELESS”

Written on: 22/02/2013 by Goode (2 reviews written)

AUSTRALIAN LAW. Without proof of purchase, receipt or visa transaction - GUARANTEE OF THE NON STICK COATING does NOT EXIST. THEY FIND THE LOOPHOLE IN THE LEGISLATION to their benefit in negating any responsibility of the Lifetime Guarantee on the non stick surface. Instead of observing good Marketing Principles, they hide behind the 'proof of purchase legislation'. I, on the other hand, have a frying pan, with no proof of purchase: I personally feel as though I am being accused of improper… Read Full Review

“Absolute Rubbish. Do Not Buy!!”

Written on: 23/01/2013 by Gumbyson (1 review written)

Like every single other review on her for Jamie Oliver pans, I too am pretty disgusted at the state they are in after just a couple of years. The anodised coating looks like I have been at it with an angle grinder and the non stick coating is coming off every one of them. I have never used anything but wooden utensils and never put them in a dishwasher. Every time I use them now I get black bits in the food, and afterwards I have to soak them for ages to get the food off the bare metal where… Read Full Review

“Disgraceful quality and fit for the bin after a short time”

Written on: 09/09/2012 by Deborahski (1 review written)

I bought these pans when I moved into my new house 6years ago. Within 6 months the lining of the pan had started to peel and black bits were in my food every time I used them. I never use metal equipment on my pans, only silicone or plastic and I cared for them as I was instructed. What do I do with them now??? A complete waste of money, they weren't cheap, and I have had to replace all of them. The royal Worcester plates are showing sighns of black patches coming through them too..... “Expensive lesson”

Written on: 17/06/2012

Jamie Oliver pans are a waste of money. I had my first pans for 1 year when 2 started to blister and peel, and the outside was scratched from the gas hotplate. I returned them to Tefal personally where they were grudgingly replaced after I endured a lecture about how to care for them including never to heat an empty pan which is ridiculous for a frypan. I have cared for these ones like my best china teatowels layered between themn to avoind scratching, wettex in bottom of sink when washing… Read Full Review

“Poor quality Jamie Oliver nonstick pans”

Written on: 04/02/2012 by shaane (1 review written)

I loved my 2 JM pans when I bought them 3 years ago and have been meticulous in looking after them. I have already had one replaced but even that now looks terrible, the red spot doesn't colour up properly any more and the surface is degrading. They have a lifetime guarantee but certainly won't last another 5 years! Trying to get them replaced again seems impossible asthe agents don't want to know you and put up all sorts of excuses. I WOULD NEVER BUY JAMIE OLIVER NON STICK AGAIN… Read Full Review

“Disappointed in JO Non Stick T-Fal pots and pans”

Written on: 06/01/2012

I purchased an entire set of Jamie Oliver non-stick T-Fal pots and pans four years ago. I never, EVER use abrasive utensils, nor do I put the pieces in the dishwasher so I was horrified to see that one of the pots has started to peel BADLY. I paid almost $400.00 Cdn for this set because I was getting… Read Full Review

Written on: 14/10/2011 by Turkeyboy (1 review written)

I am a chef of 44 years experience and have used many different pans.I think a lot of Jamie and decided to buy his pro pans rather than the cheaper tefal pans. oh! what a big mistake. We bought the small and large frying pan and after the very first time of using, the small stuck badly. Returned it to debenhams where we bought them from and after big argument finally got it replaced. Within only amonth of using both pans Iwas pulling my hair out as everything we tried to cook stuck like **** to… Read Full Review

“I thought I was buying good quality cookware”

Written on: 14/08/2011 by sueleesr (1 review written)

I spent £150 on a set of these pans in a sale a few years ago. Within a couple of years the small pan lining started to blister and break away. I have never used metal utensils in them and never put them in the dishwasher. Now all saucepans are the same and the small one is going rusty where scored. I don't use it anymore. I chased up the lifetime guarantee and was told I had to send the pans in the post to Birmingham where they would be examined to see if they qualified. As I couldn't… Read Full Review

Written on: 02/08/2011 by leroymelbaustralia (1 review written)

We thought we were buying a quality item, expensive yes ! I remember taking it fromk the box and cooking on it was great. Non stick, cleaned easily but the more you use it the cra p p e r it gets. This is a consistent issue as Tefal replaced our first one. We use it very often and consistently so therefore the duration has been the same. 12 months. We bought ours from Myer and even the sales staff agree they are c r a p . Standing in line at Aldi with a cheaper replacement and a discussion… Read Full Review

“Worst set ”

Written on: 07/06/2011

I bought this set and have been nothing but disappointed. I keep trying to convince myself they are okay and maybe it's me not treating them correctly, but sadly, that's not the case. My frying pan is shot, needs to be tossed and each of my stock/soup pots are ruined. Normally Tefal makes good products but something went terribly wrong here. Don't waste your money. I bought a cheap set that lasted years. Wish I had kept it. … Read Full Review
