Bought the set of Tefal Professional Jamie Oliver Saucepans on the basis of the advertised quality and longevity, and on the assumption that professional meant high quality and capable of daily use, and because Jamie has a positive reputation and wouldn't want his name on a duff product. He and I both got that one wrong - the pans are as duff as duff can be. Two and a half years later I've put them in the dustbin...... the black anodising on the outside has come off leaving bare aluminium patches and the non stick is flaking to a greater or lesser extent in all of the pans. White sauces now have black dandruff, the pans look ugly and tatty. And they only get light domestic use (two of us, both working full time, always using plastic or wooden utensils). To add insult to injury contacting Tefal about this apparent 'lifetime guarantee' issue is made as challenging as possible by Tefal - you have to fill in a web form on their agents website.
Our previous Prestige stainless steel cookset was bought thirty years ago when my wife went to university, and cost less than half the price (with time adjustment). No comparison on quality or longevity.
We really regret buying the Tefal pans. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I had several sizes and varieties of the tefal pans and pots with black outside finish. This cookware looks great and the sizes and types of pans available are very good, however none of my saute pans or fry pan bottoms were perfectly flat (slight rise in centre). The finish inside all the pans began to peel after the first year, even with careful use, and not exceeding reccommended teperature.

I have had jamie oliver by Tefal hard anodized saucepans for approx 3 years now and have never been happy with them. Almost immediately, the outside coating started wearing away, I put them in the dishwasher as they're supposed to be dishwasher safe, but can only think it is the dishwasher that has done this to them. They started out a nice dark grey colour and are now light grey with scratches and scuffs all over them. The non-stick is just starting to come off despite the fact I have NEVER ...

I have had the Jamie Oliver Cookware by Tefal 30cm saute pan (italian series) for nearly two years now. It's a lovely pan to begin with but despite me having handled it with kid gloves (I have never used metal utensils) the bottom of the pan is very scratched and the non stick coating is flaking away at the corners of the pan. Very disappointing indeed.

We had the Jamie Oliver Cookware by Tefal pan set bought for a wedding present three & a half years ago and I have just had to buy another pan set as they look really awful and tatty. The bases have marked and the non-scratch is all scratched inside even though I only use wooden spoons.

I had the 6 piece set (hard anodized) from Jamie Oliver Cookware for less than 6 weeks before the non-stick surface started peeling in various places, on both the 26cm frying pan and the 18cm pot. I am very disapointed as I have been extremely careful with all of the pots and pans and didn't use metal utinsels even though the manufacture claims and advertises that the cookware is meant to be tough enough for that. I had great expectations and am very unhappy with the results. I wish someone tol ...

I dropped the timing deviceo on my Jamie Oliver Cookware, accidentally - obviously - in the washing up water, and now cannot trace how to get a replacement on line. Fantastic cooking method I have used since 1953. Now have my latest modern Clipso Jamie Oliver Professional which has been absolutely first class. At least two Web site sources have declined my email (used without fault for 12 years), and even worse their own www. is not recognisable to my system either. We are getting hungry her ...

Jamie Oliver Cookware from Tefal is the best cookware I've ever used in my 55.6 years of food preparation. I only wish I had started out with it. I love the insulated pot handles , no worries about burning fingers. I really like how easily it cleans up, we have to conserve water here during the hot summer months, so using less water during clean up is a plus.
I notice that potatoes cook rapidly without discoloring. For some reason vegs te ...

If I had to give up all my pans but one I would keep the Jamie Oliver Stainless pan. I use it every day. I own the best, All Clad, the most expensive French and Italian Copper pans, Calaphon, (my father was a chef) but Jamie Oliver's is the best by far.
    1) Cooks evenly.
    2) Heats very hot, very fast, empty for searing.
    3) The handle is brilliantly ergonomic, a true pleasure for a female hand, It lifts like a light pan cooks like a very heavy pan.
