i visited the h&m store in stratford westfeild recently, i went in for a refund for an item i bought from the sale rack which had a label with £15 on it. I was in a rush the time I originally bought it so I didn't realise i was charged £25 for a different item instead of 15 for the item i actual bought. Are you thinking of shopping in h&m ?- well don"t !!!!!!!!! H&m have basically accused my daughter of taking £3. 99 worth of bracelets, when she clearly had not!! My daughter had spent all her money she had in h&m (£40) on new summer clothes. She went to the till and paid for the items, however the till assistance took about 3 mins to scan 3 items... “Worst Service Ever”

Bought an item that costed £7.99 and agreed to pay £5.99 next day delivery. After 10days item still not delivered and when i called H&M customer service, no one could locate the item or even contact the Delivery service to find out. Went to return an item that I had bought online in H & M Bury greater Manchester, A young girl was behind the counter absolutely no customer service skills. Tried to explain to her that we bought items online. Looked at me as if we were stupid she had no manners at all. she was quite rude the way she spoke to us. I can only speak for myself but I had a wonderful online experience with H&M. I just ordered some outfits this past Monday March 21 and my clothes were delivered yesterday Wednesday March 23rd. Right size and in beautiful condition. I love shopping in the store but if I don't see what I want in the store I will continue to shop online. Sorry for your bad experience but don't give up on them.

“Terrible, chaotic, appalling service”

3 Times in succession they have sent the wrong item. I have spent over and hour and a half trying to rectify the issue, been disconnected twice and even been over-charged on one of the orders when they re-raised it. I am not interested in discount vouchers for my time and trouble - it doesn't even begin to recompense me for the wasted time and effort. I have visited the store this morning on Market St, Manchester. I have to say, upon entering the store I was made to feel very uncomfortable. Two employees at the front of the store where merchandising and as I walked in they both made a comment, looked at me then looked away as I made eye contact with them. I found the staff in store overall lacked any basic customer service skills. I am a retail manager and if this was my team I would be very disappointed. Really disappointed with the service I have received both in and online. I tried to swap something in store that I ordered online for bigger size and was refused!! They they took weeks to process payments and refunds,but as soon as I was late paying bang late payment fee. I explained I had been away for Christmas it doesn't matter. Ordered some items online, it took ages to get delivered and then they all didn't fit. Went to the store to return the items and their staff said I cannot because I bought it online on credit, was told to ring customer service etc. I called 3 or 4 times and the waiting times were just silly. Beware, my order arrived promptly no problem there, however one of the items is faulty, I followed the instructions to return but the bar code is not being accepted at my local Hermes returns shop. “Awful, just awful”

I will never use H&M online again! Delivery - slow and ALWAYS a problem where all other companies can deliver promptly without any problems. Takes for ages to ship items that supposedly are in stock. Watch out if you have a discount voucher for taking clothing for recycling to H&M -they give you a £5 voucher in exchange for a bag of clothes to be recycled But when you spend it in store part of the discount is allocated to each item on your receipt- which means if you need to return/exchange an item you lose that proportion of the discount- I was reliably informed of this by a member of staff when I tried to exchange a top for the same top in size 12, who insisted they would have to… Read Full Review

I do like h&m clothes. They're generally well priced, & I like the designs. However, if you decide to purchase items online, be prepared to be frustrated by the website & to wait....& wait....
