Good Points: The suede on this shoe lasts a looooooooonggggg time The soles are super grippy and lasts long too Retro styling, i know lots of people say this but the look like the MJ1's An optional lace protecting flap on the front two lace holes of the shoe (if you want to protect you laces) The new models of the tilts come with sti foam level 2 that doesn't flatten out fast Breathable because of the perfs all around the shoe One of the best Emerica models there is
Bad Points: Suede might or might not last for you depending on how you do your flips no heel cushioning system (the shoe could do with g2)
General comments: The Emerica Tilts were invincible to me actually. They lasted a good four months of constant flipping. I had the olive coloured model which i bought for 40$ from my local skate shop. These were my favorites to skate in because of the simple stylish look of it. Most people say that suede sucks because it rips fast but for me its one of the most long lasting shoe because it wears down instead of leaving a spot behind like leather. I've skated both the older versions of the tilts which did not feature sti foam level 2 (with integrated heel counter for stability lol) but they both skated amazing because sti foam is just an insole which doesn't flatten out fast and is also kinda cushiony for when your skating stairs. These shoes have amazing flick for the kickflip area and doesn't wear out too fast for the areas in which you do your heelflips. The shoe also has loads of perfs scattered around the shoe which ensures that your feet dont get sweaty and has this white layer under the suede when it rips which increases the longevity of the shoe. Buy the Emerica Tilts if your looking for a cheap, highly skateable, stylish looking shoe. It performed well enough for me and i think that it will also do you guys great.

All in all, the Tilt is a faithful replica of the original and much loved Emerica MJ1, perhaps the best skateshoe of all time. It also shares many production techniques with the eS accel, so you know with a heritage like that it's going to be good!
The Tilt is a very simple low key shoe, but with a lot of retro styling and is one of the best looking shoes on the market. This simplicity is found throughout the shoe: a no-nonsense grippy sole, a hard wearing toe reinforced with rubber which conti ...

The Emerica The Tilt skate shoes are bad! Don't buy them. They ripped after one day of skating. If you are going to get them, I'd recommend you get the synthetic meterial other than the sued, because they would last maybe a week longer.

I've had 2 pairs of these Emerica The Tilt. I had a pair of dc's and I ripped those in a week. these shoes ripped a tiny bit after about 2 months. They have awesome grip. I didn't even rip a hole in the bottom of them. They are the most comfortless shoes I've ever had.

The Emerica The Tilt are the only emerica`s you could find here in manila. They're so widespread here.
I bought the suede/black/gum type. What's really annoying about these shoes is the toe cap. It looks kind of weird. I hate the fact it doesn't have an Ollie pad, all skate shoes should have Ollie pads.
The first part of the shoe that gets the most abuse is the front/toe cap area. so I think shoe companies should always reinforce the front of the shoes. Triple stitching the toe cap is good ...

The Emerica The Tilt have lasted me longer than all my other shoes which where Globe, Etnies,Duffs and adio(which were the worst shoes ever). Anyway they have lasted me 6 months now but most shoes only last me three. The lace protection and grip is good and so is the leather, all that for £55.

I have these shoes at the moment and they're really good. They look good, feel good, and are pretty strong in places. They are good if you want a compact shoe. The only thing bad is that they are not too good for protection as there is no air or gel in the soles, but other than that they are a brilliant shoe to consider.

The tilt is a good shoe if u skate all the time.It holds together well and has great board feel. The only place it rips is in the toe area but it doesnt fall apart at all it just looks discolored. The grip is pretty good and does not go away till after a couple of weeks.
