Good Points: Good and loud compared to many other players. Nice selection of pre-set sound settings and 2 user defined. Excellent build quality. Recording through line-in gives good reproduction at 3+ hours. I rarely use mic recording, but the quality is acceptable on the mic too. Good array of accessories.
Bad Points: Sometimes when recording from the internal radio you can have a good clear signal, but as soon as you start to record, the device seems to produce it's own interference. This is not present when recording from external sources. I believe a firmware upgrade is required to integrate with Windows media player. Navigation will require frequent use to get to grips with.
General comments: I am completely satisfied with the Hyun Won Slim Box MP3 player. It is very durable, and after having it for 18 months, everything is still where it should be, and it is showing no signs of pending failure. The software is a bit clunky, but it's perfectly usable. It is worth every penny. A spare battery will cost approximately £3.50, plus you can use the AAA add on.
