A great chocolate bar which never goes out of fashion. I've been eating Mars Bars for over 22 years now and have used them when I fancy a quick snack or when I'm out walking and need an energy boost. I've never had a bad Mars Bar or one which wasn't perfect out of the packet. Family members and friends also enjoy Mars Bars. (read more)

Political Correctness has spoiled my all time favourite chocolate bar to the point I've not bought one in 2 years the original recipe was great: taste & texture was spot on, be it cooled or left in the sun to go soggy but 45% less fat during the FA branded ones makes this a very unpleasant item to eat, to ther point the bin ate them. all good snacks you loved are messed with & now most are not worth buying these foolish companies should sell the "healthy" one & the original one & let us... I have such a sweet tooth and a real sift spot for mars bar. It's such a classic - timeless but still delicious. I have to ration myself to just 3 per week - otherwise i'd eat 3 per day! (read more)

Mars bars used to be awesome. In the 90's the UK had beautiful Mars bars - soft thick chocolate. Gorgeous caramel. I used to buy heaps. Now I live in NZ and they are dry, the chocolate cracks off like brown paint that has been lightly sprayed onto the sides. The bars themselves are tiny and keep getting smaller. They are sickly sweet. I don't think anybody can call these a "chocolate bar" at all as the chocolate factor is becoming more and more insignificant as the years go by. The... (read more)

Overall I like mars bars, but I must say I find them a little sickly after a while. The mini mars bars you can get are probably ideal.
The best though, although strictly speaking not a mars bar, is the mars ice cream. For some reason its much less sickly and is probably my favourite ice cream

Mars bars are overall my favorite chocolate bar. The texture is great. I love the caramel and chocolate nugget that is covered by a milk chocolate coating. All in all it is a great chocolatey treat. (read more)

Very good chocolate, and tastes good, plus whats in it is good. Liked the taste of the chocolate. Could be a little less sweet, and far too much caramel in it. Need to have less sugar in it. Need to improve chocolate a little bit please. (read more)

Delicious, incredibly sweet and soft and gooey, also very nice when put in the chiller cabinet so they go rock hard that way they last longer.
Oh yes and they are absolutely delicious battered served with chips!

I think Mars is really unattractive and dull and this being the reason i don't really buy a Mars bar. It's really boring holding a dull chcolate bar in my hand. The taste of it it's too sickly and sweet. (read more)

Well the thought of writing a review on something as simple as a Mars Bar seems a little strange to me, so I'll keep it short ...
Over the years I've found that Mars chocolate has become sweeter - someone else said that in another review, and I would agree with them ...
Also note that the size has decreased - Mars Bars just keep getting smaller and smaller - I never used to be able to eat a whole one, but now they're nothing to me ...
Recommended to anyone who likes chocolate in short ...

I used to like these chocolate bars as an occasional treat when I was little, but unfortunately, Mars chocolate has now become far too sweet and sickly for my taste, especially after trying dark chocolate with 70% cocoa. I have never ever gone back! (read more)

Eh Mars Bar, a nice chocolate bar if you choose the snack size variety however if you dare get anything bigger (God forbid you buy kingsize) it can very boring and overwhelmingly sickly. If you choose anything in a bigger size, I'd go for Mars Bars' far more interesting cousin, Snickers. Whilst its not for my taste, I recommend to others in smaller doses. (read more)

I agree, eating a Mars Bar sometimes feels like struggling to eat a large Sunday dinner when your not hungry, I honestly feel knackered when I've eaten one, it takes so much chewing and chomping, not one my favourites at all.

The Mars is a hugely popular chocolate bar which has a nougat and caramel centre. It's thick, stodgy and full of sugar. Not the kind of thing you want to eat too much of, as it doesn't do your teeth too many favours. If you're after a tasty, sugary chocolate bar, get a Mars... (read more)
