“No coffee creams...????”

★★★☆☆

written by Kathybennett1 on 15/03/2014

These chocolates have lost their appeal to me with the removal of the coffee creams...what are you playing at Nestles. .??

“not the same”

★★★☆☆

written by fireisland on 05/11/2012

I treated myself to a box of Black Magic chocolates as I had been working very hard and thought I deserved a treat. I had not had any for a few years and was really looking forward to delicious, sophisticated dark chocolates with an impressive variety of unusual fabulous fillings. What a disappointment! Very poor variety of fillings; disliked the raspberry and orange ones. Horrible consistancy. In the past the cream fillings were silky and flowing. I will not buy them again. Nestle, what have you done to Rowntrees Black magic. You do not 'hold the sectret to the black magic box.' You have obviously cut down on quality to make the chocolates cheap. Personally, I would prefer them to be more expensive and have them as the once in a while treat that they once were.

Black Magic Originals are good but where are the chocolate centres I loved for years? Where is the hazelnut cluster, marzipan, coffee cream, toffee and mallow, cracknel, nougat, chocolate covered brazil nut and turkish delight? Now they were centres to savour. Bring them back, do a Black Magic Classic. Sometimes trying to keep up with the trends is a move backwards. Why not try a proper move backwards to classic centres.

“Black Magic was my favorite chocolates of all time,...”

written by on 19/11/2010

Black Magic was my favorite chocolates of all time, the new selection seems to have some of my favorite centres missing ie. coffee cream, + cherry + mallow & fudge, & seems to concentrate on hard centres it's a pity as I was so pleased to find them back on sale, Why not make them the same as the original?

OOOOOOOOh! come on Nestle!!!! Give us the rest of the old Black Magic. You really didn't think you would get away with half measures.DID YOU???? We the BLACK MAGIC Chocolate eaters want the old ones back. With soft centres of coffee cream, orange, strawberry and lemon.and all the hard favorites too.Why you thought you could destroy the BLACK MAGIC idea. with those awful squares i do not know.
But then to produce this half measure.BLACK MAGIC Classic its nearly there but still a bit disapointing. You tell lies on package. CLASSIC
meaning. simple, harmonious, proportioned and finished.FAVOURITES meaning tried and tested and recognized as pleasing.
why dont you do a halloween promotion every year on tv.that would get some sales up.

I don't think you will find any!! Inclusion of the word 'black' and then followed by 'magic' is big times not politically correct. If you are visitor, take some with you. If you are resident, then mail order from the UK.
