I dont honestly know what Cadburys have done to the Crunchie bar but neither my Wife or myself can appreciate the change in the recipe that has made this part of the confectionary market a 100% failure. We find that it cannot be chewed and as for waiting for it to dissolve like the old bar used to, then that is an impossibilty. I suppose that the delighful UE could be responsible like they are for the rest of our taste buds being slowlky ruined by their interference. Sad really what has happened to the old much enjoyed Crunchie, but we will not buy anymore.
Yours disgusted. J & G Hicken, West Midlands

the chocolate on the outside of the Cadbury Crunchie Bar is fab, and the honeycomb makes it crunchy and yum!

Has something changed in the ingredients?

Has something changed with our favourite Cadbury Crunchie Bars? My husband recently bought me two and they were horrible! The chocolate looks darker and tastes like cheap chocolate not the quality that I have come to expect from Cadbury's. It tastes like it is sweetened with something different, yuk!!!!

There should be small bite size round crunchies, like maltesers.
    Little crunchies dipped in chocolate!
You could buy them by the bag and have as many as you like.
    Little round crunchie mouthfuls!

I love the two main ingredients of Cadburys Crunchie Bar bar. Cadbury's chocolate has to be the best commercial chocolate around and honeycomb always reminds me of the fair that used to come each year when I was a kid. You could buy big bags of the stuff there for about 25p!

To be honest, I think I prefer these two ingredients separate so I tend to end up biting the chocolate off first before starting on the honeycomb. Very messy and doesn't work well!

This is though, one of my favourite c ...

Thin chocolate coats sugary honey comb, very sweet, and nice. Cadburys Crunchie Bar is up there with the best of 'em, like Lion bar and the Mars bar.
The Crunchie is pretty thin and not stodgy, so it goes pretty fast unlike a Lion or Snickers which are more dense.
...where would we be without The Crunchie?
