Nik Naks 'Nice 'n' Spicy' used to be just that, Nice n Spicy, something to challenge the taste buds! However, I just purchased a pack today, and it was vapid. It was evident from the crisps (OK, 'savoury snacks') that they had visibly less spice on them after finishing a pack, you used to have fingers coated in a spicy and tangy powder, today, you can see the colour of the maize and can taste the substrate. Not sure if this change if due to changing tastes or economic reasons. (read more)

Flavours are still ok, but im not sure if they still do scampi and lemon, used to love those. Still good value at 6-10pkts for a pound in most discount shops. HOWEVER major gripe is nowadays due to assumed relocation of manufacturing plant (probably abroad) all the nik naks are hundreds of tiny pathetic little twigs instead of the huge finger sized twiglets they used to be. SHould be called Mini Twiglets for kids perhaps. (read more)

As much as i like Nik-Nak crisps, the nice and spicy ones are not spicy in the slightest. They should not advertise the crisps as spicy if they dont contain any spice flavouring!! They are a waste of 60p because there is no flavouring to them. This has now ruined my day, even more than the rain has. (read more)

I live in Sweden and I have to go to UK when I am out of Nik Nak's. It is totally worth the trip. When I find them in a shop I usually scream my patented Nik Nak's screams. No, seriously I do other things on my holidays as well, but I have to eat some of my favourites while in UK. Miss some of the older flavours, but the ones I can get I eat. /J (read more)

I first had a bag of Nik Naks about 10 years ago and enjoyed them very much, a local shop sold the cheese flavored ones at a discount and my wife used to buy me 6 packets at a time, they didnt last long, the cheese ones were my favorite, I dont really like the spicy ones. My son bought a multipack recently and I found there were no cheese flavored one's.
WHATS GOING ON WHY DISCONTINUE THE BEST FLAVOUR, ARE THEY MAD OR JUST BAD. (read more)

I love the Barbeque flavour and scampi flavour Niknaks. But all the supermarkets in Letchworth Hertfordshire don't stock them they only have the Hot and spicey ones which i don't like. I have even asked the local corner shop to try to get me some........ I really miss my favourite snacks. Please help me find my favourite Niknaks (read more)

Nice and Spicey Nik Naks are quite simply delicious. As you would expect from their name, they are both spicey and indeed nice. My sister prefers the Lemon and Scampi flavour. These are also pretty nice, a little less spicey and not too fishey in flavour.
The bags in which Nik Naks are packaged do appear to be a little smaller than other crips based snacks. However, don't be alarmed, there are enough Nik Naks inside to satisfy your pallette.
And if there isn't, just eat two bags! (read more)

omg, i was eating a pack of nice 'n' spicey (the ones in the orange bag with the awesome flames) I was munching away when it hit me!!!!! these bags are a bit small. i would like to take this moment to bring to your attention that NikNaks are the only crisp brand that do not even have a big back, for ur fatter consumers.
thanks block 3 upstairs!
p.s We love what you have done the name, niknaks...like without the C. (read more)

So tasty, I often find myself floating off into a psychedelic dream world after consuming these intense little darlings - a kind of furiously fluorescent and fizzing NikNaksville, NikNakland. The flavours are verging on Platonic - NikNaks do nice and spicy better than the finest spice blenders of the Raj and their scampi tastes more like scampi than actual scampi does. Food nazis like Jamie Oliver would obviously exclude these marvellous delights from their spine-chilling vision of a... (read more)

My favourite flavour these days are the nice & spicy ones in the orange bags, and they are by all means spicy, but in the past, it used to be the scampi & lemon ones. I was glad when Walkers stopped making the scampi & lemon flavour Nik Naks, as I went off them after a while, and therefore, afterwards I got hooked on the nice & spicy ones. (read more)

I enjoy Nik Naks because of the different flavours and the very strong taste which can be absent in other crisps. My initial favourites were the orange & purple packets however the cheese is delicious - strangely creamy too. I recommend these to one and all, especially if you like something strong for your tastebuds! (read more)

Nik Naks are 2nd best to the mighty scampi fry. These stink of lemony fish (the lemony fish ones). Ours were stale, so had a cardboard consistency, but they were nice none the less, and went down well with Old Jamaica ginger beer. Recommended for nights in around the fire when high winds make the seas too choppy. Serve with fresh peas :) (read more)
