Good Points: Rich, nutty and burnt flavour.
Bad Points: None.
General comments: This Lustau East India Rich Oloroso Sherry was served as an addition to a dessert of Spanish Almond cake. The combination worked wonderfully well. The sweet and "burnt" flavour of the sherry was a perfect companion to the less sweet but nutty flavoured, moist cake.
I am not sure that I would enjoy the sherry as much on its own or at least would only want a small glass,, as it has an intense flavour, but I would recommend it as an accompaniment as I had it or with a selection of cheeses.
