I had my cat insured with Pet Healthcare services for 14 years. They paid out for any illness my cat had although I was paying a staggering £26.99 a month. However I had to pay 20% of the bills due to her age. Then unfortunately I had to have my cat put to sleep 2 weeks ago. I sent in my final bill to them and to really upset me further they made some deductions from the cheque sent to the Vets. As my cat passed away 5 months before the end of my yearly insurance and because I made monthly payments I have had to pay those 5 months in full. I guess my cat should have chosen the end of the year to get ill!!! I will never use them again. Read the small print! I am taking this further.

I have been insured by Pet Healthcare Pet protect for 7+ yrs. My dog has had a on going claim for 6 years and they have continued to pay out each year (I ob have to pay my excess each year). I can't fault the service I have received from them and there are not many companies now that pay out on life long conditions which having had two dogs with serious conditions I would say is invaluable.

Watch the small print with Pet Healthcare Pet Insurance. I was with them for seven years with my dog. When I had to have her put to sleep after a tumour was discovered, I was informed that as I paid by installments, (which rose from £7 per month to £22 over seven years). They would only pay a percentage of the bill - £8 of £400.
I would never use them again.

My dog is 13.5yrs old and has had several serious conditions. Heart, spine, ligaments snapping in both back legs, growths, paralysis to name a few.
We were lucky to be insured as you can imagine this has cost a fortune over the years.
This Co. has been so friendly and helpful and have only capped his heart condition illness.
It now costs over £300 per year but I can see why!
