Dreadful delivery service, if you can get to a store yourself do it, don't rely on their delivery service. I've taken time off work twice to wait in for an order guaranteed for a specific time only for it not to turn up with some lame excude from Wickes. I won't be using the service again.
Their customer services team did try to help, but whats the point if they can't get their dispatch and delivery service working.

Very happy with purchase but when required replacement bulbs the only store to stock them near me was Kettering. I asked staff why and was told that it was because of space, this i could not understand, as the bulbs are only 75cms long and 1cm in dia. I do not see how this small item could warrent this reply. Surely a firm as large as Wickes if they sell a item you should at least stock spares

Buying a kitchen from Wickes is a bad move. They failed to specify the right components and then fail to deliver all the components, which causes incredible frustration and increases in cost. Do not buy a kitchen from this company

This summer I replaced my tatty old 1980s kitchen with a new one from Wickes ("Glencoe" range). There was a significant Summer Sale discount available; the salesman was helpful and did not pressurise me to buy anything I didn't want; the delivery was on time. The build quality is good. There were only a couple of errors in the order and one of those was my own. Returning erroneous/unused items to store was not a problem providing I saw the kitchen salesman each time (one should not expect wareho ...

I recently was recommended to go to my local WIckes store to see a Design Consultant to help me create my dream kitchen. The whole experience was exactly that. She was pleasant and had so many ideas that no other company had come up with. The design, delivery and installation all went exactly how she said it would. I will recommend that you take some time to go to the Aylesbury store as you will not be disappointed. I will and have recommended it to all my friends and family.

Bought a suite from wickes to store in garage until plumber was able to fit me in as there was a sale on. Ordered mixer taps to compliment the suite at an extra cost. When the plumber fitted the suite we realised that the taps had not been included but wickes would not accept liability for this. they could see on their compluters that i had paid extra for the taps but only offered to refund a tenner despite the taps costing a lot more! the staff were rude and not willing to help at all. i have r ...

Incorrect parts, delivered, damaged units sent, fitters time wasted, they designed kitchen with units put where they should be put. no instructions or in foreign language. attempting 4th delivery of some goods at the moment, Wickes customer service team is useless!

I am the most unsatisfied customer that Wickes has ever had. They wrongly designed my kitchen, delivered the wrong parts, delivered imperfect parts and I experienced long delays for replacements. No compensation received as as yet for my fitters wasted time. Their classic mistake was to design my kitchen around a huge zanussi fridge-freezer. Not only did this refuse to work but it turned out to be the last of its kind in the country. Wickes and Zanussi between them couldn't give a monkeys an ...

I expected a delivery of a door today that I had ordered on Wickes online. When I arranged a delivery date with their customer services over a week ago I was told that I would receive a call a day before delivery notifying me of the 3 hour slot within which they will deliver. This suited me as I do not live at the property. I ' m really annoyed this morning as the driver called me to say I will be there in 3 minutes but it takes me 40 minutes to drive to the property. Customer Services told ...

I am sorry your other reviewers have had such bad experiences with Wickes - mine has been 100% positive. Liked the sales chaps - didn't feel pressurised to buy anything unnecessary. ETA for delivery was between 8 and 11 am - they phoned at 7.30, arrived at 7.50 and were gone by 8.40. Went away for the week so my fitter could get on - everything was there, nothing was damaged and it looks absolutely terrific. Am thrilled to bits. Put off getting a new kitchen for nearly two years because of ...

I shopped in my local Wickes store last week and visited on four separate days. As a pensioner I was not in a hurry to select my preferred bathroom suite and ancillary's . Imagine my surprise a week latter to be sent a notification of a £95 parking fine for staying in their car park for more than 90 minutes. After two visits to a very unpleasant manager (what happened to customer service), she agreed to cancel the fine with the condition that i don't overstay my 90 minutes parking next ...

I purchased a kitchen from wickes on 18 February 2009, the kitchen was drawn up by a design consultant who also made a site visit. To cut a long story short when the kitchen arrived units did not fit, I rang the wickes store where the goods was order from and they were unhelpful they had got their sale and that's all that mattered to them. I am in the process of making an official complaint as I feel the service I received was appalling!

I bought a Wickes Quiet Garden Shredder. Because I live some distance away from the shop I rang to check they had it in stock. When I got it home - no instructions, no stand and no wheels. On reflection it looks like the goods had previously been returned and the box re-sealed , presumably by some person in Wickes.

How they can think they can stay in business with service like that goodness only knows. These are not cheap goods ( £116). That was the only one in the store so I will have ...

Ordered a door on-line, and becasue we were getting it delivered, also ordered another large item, an expensive lawnmower worth £300. Ordered on a Sunday to be delivered the following Saturday, for which i had to pay an additional £5. When the order is placed, there is no confirmation that you have a Saturday delivery, even though you've just paid extra for the priveledge. So I emailed customer services, and checked. They emailed me back to confirm my goods were definitely going t ...

I have recently purchased a kitchen from Wickes. My friends had warned me that 'something always goes wrong' when installing a new kitchen but nothing prepared me for the customer service I experienced from Wickes. Firstly my kitchen delivery was aborted as they couldn't get their lorry into my street (I live in a busy built up area of Glasgow) and they refused to bring it 50 meters along a pavement to my front door. The delivery had to be rescheduled and brought in a smaller van 3 days later ...

I have ordered 24 packs of floor tiles at £16.99 each. When I realized I needed some more I went to my local store and found the same tiles for £11.99. Wickes.co.uk said they can price their stuff independently from the stores and no re-fund will be given. Even funnier, whilst my online receipt showed I paid 16.99 per pack, the delivery receipt showed I paid 11.99. Apparently that was a mistake. I have been told no refund will be given. 2 days later the price on and offline were e ...

Conservatory was delivered with broken door frame. Builders had to be cancelled for a week. 2nd day builders on site, they couldn't complete as no 'Roof Rafters', it took BVC 7 wrong attempts to get bits to me, that then arrived broken, another lot sent (took total of 6 weeks with just glazed sides up and no roof!) I now have wrong roof panels, broken window frame, and door frame that don't line up, so got 5 extra holes in frame drilled to take doors! I also have a severe leaking roof as panels ...

Bought laminate flooring called Fast Fix Oak at £4 m2.

I thought this was very poor quality material. I normally lay a floor in 5 hours, but this took 3 days as I had to constantly change boards I had laid because they would be chipped or an odd colour.
One pack's boards all had a whitish thick line on one end.
Quite a lot of boards had an almost serated edge which you can only see when natural bright light comes into the room.
One joint has risen by a mm which will chip.
    When laying you ...
