“Wickes are useless”

Ordered three 5 Litre tins of Dulux painton a three for two offer,of paint only two turned up. The delivery man whe pressed said "maybe the missing one would arrive tomorrow "' it didn't. Wickes said that the missing tin of paint was put out for delivery again but was damaged in transit. They promised it would be delivered the following Thursday, stayed in all day no delivery. Very poor delivery information to customers. Had we known we could have collected order ourselves. Stayed all morning to wait for order then made my neighbour to wait in afternoon and still no delivery. “Staff kept in the dark”

Wanted to add a kitchen wall cupboard to an existing Wickes supplied kitchen - under two years old! Ordered over the Internet and picked up what we thought was the same as the other items. Staff were helpful in the store. However, the unit is one centimetre longer than the existing ones and the colour, although packaged as the same colour, is not. “Delivery Service Shambles”

14 July delivery booked for morning of garden item did not arrive, told by wickes it had not gone from them to delivery firm but promised definite delivery 17 July am. Nothing arrived, told by wickes that item had not even been put on delivery lorry and i would not receive it today. “delivery ”

We had some bulk sand that was delivered to us, 2 huge bags that we wouldn't be able to lift our self's. The delivery driver was very rude and when i asked I he could leave the bags in our from garden he refused but stated he would leave them on the bit of green near our pathway! “Home Delivery Service”

I placed a large order at Wickes and was given a choice of what day to have it delivered. The only thing that stopped me rating this 5* was that I didn't get the promised phone call informing me what time slot I could expect the delivery in but I rang the store and they confirmed it for me. I just wrote and sent Wickes Customer Services the letter below, absolute disgrace that I will have to spend time contesting a charge for being parked in the store car park whilst shopping there! “Disgusting & Insulting To Deal With”

Incompetent staff in Chelmsford store made an error on our order for an entire new bathroom suite. Rather than admitting their mistake they lied to our face in store, on the phone & in our own home to cover themself. They then charged over £400 to rectify their incompetence & didn't even show up! Ordered some products online. Some of the smaller items were damaged and some were not what was ordered - no big problem, I say to myself, mistakes happen - as do accidents. “Cannot contact customers or deliver orders”

I have just spoken to the delivery manager at the Macclesfield delivery department. She had no knowledge that my delivery was rescheduled for today and had not seen any of the notes or the map of the new route until I spoke to her. “Terrible Delivery Service”

I purchased a Shire log cabin which arrived with the wrong parts, they never disputed the problem but just constantly failed to solve it, a whole catalogue of ignoring me and passing me back to the manufacturer.
