“Never, Ever, Again.”

Well where do I start. We decided to look for a new bathroom and saw one in Wickes which we liked. We arranged for a plan which was done in store, and this did look impressive. But all went downhill from here. Were were give a start date. This is when our nightmare began. Two fitters arrived, one was in an extremely bad mood, the other one could not speak a word of English. “Shockingly Bad”

My son ordered a considerable amount of planed timber and plasterboard online for delivery, first mistake get it yourself. Unfortunately I wasn't there when it was delivered or it would have been sent straight back but my inexperienced son took delivery with an 'endorsed' delivery note, which turned out as much use as a chocolate fireguard. “Disgusting Service”

I needed 90 boxes of tiles. Hereford store showed stock of 69 and Gloucester of 29 boxes. I tried to purchase a 'click and collect' as they were unavailable to order for delivery. it would not work. “Can they be trusted?”

Earlier in the summer I spent several hundreds pounds with Wickes so I thought I would use a cashback site to save myself a few pounds. Wickes were not the cheapest but having had fairly good service in store thought I would buy from them. What I didn't realise was that they would do everything they could not to pay the cashback, even saying I didn't use the cashback website in question. “Do not Bother”

walnut mirror was delivered, Great i thought so drill wall and hung it up and realised it was bowed and distorted glass like Hall of Mirrors,got replacement which was as bad.Six mirrors later over a six week period still all faulty.I asked for one from manufacture instead of the rubbish they kept sending from their warehouse but they refused and basically gave up and forced me have a refund which i did not want.Wickes failed miserably to sort this out… Read Full Review

I ordered timber and mdf from wickes. 4 items were wrong, I got a small sheet of hardboard instead of a larger mdf, 34x34 of 44x44, some items were just missing. The changes made the value less. One Wickes employee suggested they subtitute stuff because something was unavailable. I phoned the (national) number given and they said someone would get back to me in 24 hours. They didn't. “Absolute nightmare! AVOID!”

They have made my bathroom refurbishment a nightmare. Firstly, I have paid extra for Saturday delivery - only 70% of the items ordered arrived on Saturday, of which Bathtub front panel came broken and bath tub was missed off. That is not the end, as the builder started tiling one pack of the wall tiles were discovered broken - luckily he could utilize them. “Terrible laminate flooring”

The laminate flooring I purchased from Wickes creaked + squeaked badly after a couple of months following installation by a professional flooring specialist. Ordered sand and ballast online - got an email with delivery dates etc - fine. On the day of delivery I checked the email and saw I should have received a message the night before. Five days after parting with my money, I received an email offering an earliest delivery date 12 days away. That is 17 days after the order was placed or 13 if you don't include weekends. I ordered £350 of wood 2 weeks in advance and phoned them to ensure it would be delivered on the Friday and was all in stock. 2 weeks later on the Thursday before the Friday on which it should have been delivered they phoned me to say that they only had around half of it in stock and the rest of it wouldn't be in stock for another week.
