    Good Points: Excellent position, lovely and peaceful. far enough from the lively cheweng centre but close enough to walk there.
    Friendly ,smiling and helpful team of staff, nothing was too much trouble.
    Our room was lovely, it was looking over the pool in the Thai Village.


    Bad Points: We found the drinks, especially the wine very expensive.


    General comments: We had a really lovely stay at this hotel . It was smart, clean and in a great location. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with something for everyone, even the most fussy person would would be happy with the vast spread - one of the best we've had!
    We woukd certainly stay here again. Well done, to all you're doing a great job!

    What an amazing hotel!!!! We stayed at the Amari palm reef in June 2004 on our honeymoon and had the most fantastic time. The hotel was superb, we stayed in a deluxe room overlooking the tropical gardens, which were truly beautiful and seemed to be maintained daily. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed it was quite modern with the most fantastic bathroom and enormous bed. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels.     Stayed at the Amari Palm Reef Resort the first 2 weeks of June 2004 after spending 5 nights in Bangkok. Immediate impressions on arrival were a little disappointing, but this was after moving from a 5 star city hotel. Amari Palm Reef does not have the visible luxury or splendour of the city hotels, but is certainly amongst the better hotels in Chewang.     I booked the Amari Palm Reef Resort through a prepaid site so it was not possible to just checkout and leave - we should not get a refund. This hotel was a huge disappointment. It is not a bad place - but the offers they advertise are not there! The same with the facilities and for the price (where did they get those stars???) the service was very poor.

    This hotel does NOT provide what they advertised as having in their resort - notably, no tennis courts, no health club, no mountain bikes, ...
