    Good Points: Nice and quiet location, on the beach, beautiful garden, warm hospitality.


    Bad Points: None.


    General comments: I stayed at Regency Club Room of Bali Hyatt in May 2004. Bali Hyatt is more than 30 years old, and it was already there in Sanur as one of the best resort hotels in Bali, before the government developed Nusa Dua as the luxurious resort area. Sanur is on the east side of the island, and its waves in the sea is very gentle, and you can see the beautiful sunrise. Bali Hyatt is about 20 minutes by car from the airport, and its in the quiet and peaceful Sanur Village, and on the beautiful white sands of Sanur beach.
    The room is not very large(about 40 square meters), but decorated with nice batik and ikat fabrics, very comfortable, and you can enjoy wonderful garden/ocean view from its private balcony.
    Their tropical garden is huge and beautiful, it's like a botanical garden, and there are ''garden tours'' twice a week. They have two swimming pools, one with a swim-up bar and the other with a cold dip and jacuzzi.
    If you stay at Regency Club Room, you can check in/out at Regency Club Lounge, which is an outdoor pavillion, and set admist a spectacular water garden. You can have free drinks/food there. I really liked the beautiful garden view from the lounge, especially in the morning, and you can see some birds and squirrels here and there on the trees.
    I recommend the dinner at their Chinese restaurant ''Telaga Naga'', which is located among lotus ponds in its own tropical garden, just across the hotel's main entrance. Its food was very good, and its atmosphere was very exotic and romantic.
    Now there are many gorgeous hotels in other resort areas in Bali, and Bali Hyatt may not be the best of all any more, but I love Bali Hyatt, as I found it's very comfortable to stay there and their hospitality is warm.
