Good Points: Delivered on time.
Bad Points: Delivered item was not what I ordered.
General comments: Teleflora - I ordered a congratulations bouquet with balloon for my daughter, and the balloon that got delivered said happy birthday. Too bad it wasn't her birthday.

Very bad customer service and did not deliver what I ordered. I do not recommend any one using them unless you don't care what they send and how much you pay for it.
Sent a cheap substitution without notifyling me first! Customer service hung up on me when I asked for something to be done. I paid 55.00 and they sent 5 carnations and a spider mum! I had ordered a "zen" arrangement that included orchids. Not even close to my order!

Here is a copy of the letter that I sent to their customer service person in Canada. The response was that they were still clinging to the fact that they did "deliver on the date" specified. I still challenge this point. They did give me the address of Teleflora headquarters in L.A. but no phone number. Apparently, the floral company of the whole world cannot be bothered to even speak to customers at the "top of the company" (CEO). Shame on you Teleflora! :>(

They refunded 50% of the charge, but would not refund 100% even though these were the first flowers I'd had delivered to my new girlfriend. Not the good first-impression I wanted to make (even though she was very understanding).

To me, the quality of the customer service is poor and I think the relationship that teleflora has with some of the local florists needs to be improved. Beware of having flowers delivered in Nashville, TN.

I ordered an arrangement on Feb. 13th, 2008 to be delivered on Valentine's Day and now it is the 16th and still no arrangement. I have had no response to my 3 emails as of yet. At this point, I highly advise you to go to your local florist and arrange for delivery. I will be requesting a refund from this company. I am very displeased.

Teleflora also has many of their Member florists who have their own websites, hosted by Teleflora. You can save a lot of money by ordering direct. The shop who untimately fills your order, is the one you deal with.
All flower shops are inundated with orders at Mother's Day, Christmas and Valentine's Day. No Florist can guarantee 100% satisfaction at these periods. If anything, order early.

Not even close to what was ordered. 2 days late in delivery. Needed to keep calling to ask what the status was. Tried to cancel, but they promised to make good on the situation. Make Good?? First, the quality of the website... It might be a well-designed format, but they are just pictures of pretty flowers...not representative at all of what one receives. I'm sure they bank on the fact that whoever receives them is not in the same city/state or country. The average buyer would never know.

I would suggest finding a local florist and ask them to send a picture of the arrangement before the flowers are delivered. In no other industry is this an acceptable business practice. If I ordered something out of a catalog I would expect to get what I paid for or get my money back. Why do florists advertise one thing and then use the old bait and switch and you're supposed to like it? Yeah, yeah - I know "not everything is available." Overall, this is the second year in a row that Teleflora have messed up at least, if not more of my multiple orders. So much for giving people another chance. I will say their customer service representatives are very very courteous and polite, but they do not offer any significant reimbursement replacement for their mistakes, just verbal apologies. This year I had a 15% discount coupon and I couldn't resist - more fool me.

I ordered flowers for my housemate. She did receive the flowers. However, whatever she received was totally different from the website picture, even the vase was a different color. I ordered Lavender Essence with a light purple vase, but it looked like some random flowers together with a green vase. The message was totally messed up; it was another person's message. I ordered from Teleflora for a beautiful bouquet to be delivered to my wife at her work on our 4th Anniversary as I was out of town on business. I received my confirmation for the delivery with the correct date indicated on the confirmation form.

I purchased flowers for Valentines Day for a girlfriend from Teleflora. They arrived 2/15/06 wilted and short. I spent over three hours on the phone over three days, and all I accomplished was receiving a $20.00 refund on a $45.00 order. Oh, and the refund could take up to five days to receive.

I specified very clearly to Teleflora the date and time the flowers were to be delivered. They were delivered the next day instead. I called to complain, at which point they said they would not bill me. Then they billed me anyway.
