  Band in a Box 2004 is a good scratch pad tool to work on ideas. The sounds are only okay. You do not have true control over many of the features. It often sounds like you are using a bad $100 keyboard's sound set. I do not recommend Band in a Box.

  This is a fascinating piece of software and a great addition to the home musician giving a really good range of accompaniment styles and mixes (each 'combo' can be mixed to your own individual preference). All in all, this a great piece of software that I'm pleased to have bought.
