Good Points: Triband.
Bad Points: Menu confusing and not user friendly.
Battery life, message alert, etc.
General comments: triband was the main reason I bought this Motorola Ti250 but the menu system was the worst I've seen. Too many button presses to get to the info required. Also adding numbers is horrendous.
Screen visbility is bad and view options are worse still.
Sorry won't be buying Moto again.

I bought this Ti250 mobile phone because I trusted that Motorola could make good products. The phone contained all the features I wanted (IR, Tri Band, Alarm Clock, WAP).
Unfortunately, as soon as the display screen is scratched you have to run and find a shady location (preferably no light at all). Secondly, although the features are useful the makers of the software haven't a clue how the outside world looks. A lot of repetitive button pressing at the menu screen, only to be lost when you ...- Read Luke's review (184 words)

The Motorola Ti250 is one of the best Business Mobile Phones I've ever had. Compact, stable, a Good all-rounder, with the limitations of being a WORK tool, not a play thing.
Not as user friendly as Nokia, but usable, and with use of the shortcut button it even works better than any Mobile phone I've ever used. Wap is Good, it has a good browser.- Read e-Migas's review (108 words)

Motorola Ti250. I am happy to say I am now getting a new mobile phone. A year with this dog of a product has been quite enough.
I bought this unit when I was working in Hong Kong- it's a P7689 (known as Timeport 250 in UK). This means it has Chinese software in it, which I never use, it's always set to English. Maybe that's why it crashes about once a week- Chinese SW hogs the internal memory.
Sound Quality- OK
User interface- awful. Many key presses, no logical layout...
Battery life: has n ...- Read emulti's review (258 words)

I purchased the Motorola Ti250 mobile phone as I needed a tri band phone and this was available. It was the worst mistake I ever made. The phone superficially looks quite good, but look closer and it's really cheap and nasty with a finish that that is not as good as my son's toy mobile phone and which the paint rubs off!! Inside the sim card holder tells all, as it is a piece of design that comes straight from a toy manufacturer.
The text is nigh on invisible as it is a faded black on a vague ...- Read eade's review (188 words)

I bought this Ti250 from Motorola as it was one of the few tri band phones available at the time. In two years i have hardly used it. There are loads of useful features that are easy to use, such as voice dialing that works well. One button press and you are into memo recording etc. BUT all the most used features such as the phone book,,phone setup and sms message handling are awkward and require too many key presses. As for iTap well it has put me off buying a Motorola ever again. It works but ...- Read Steve Holt's review (128 words and 1 comment)

Generally, the Motorola Ti250 is a good phone. It has a few bad points, just like some other MOTOROLA phones, but it also have some functions that many phones haven't. I just have to say that this is a great phone for money it costs ( I paid it 150 EURO - with no contract)- Read Dejan's review (102 words)

Motorola would do well to listen to feed back from the user community so navigation within the phone is improved. In addition, the build quality of the motorola phones (in the UK) is terrible. I am on my 3rd phone. The first 2 were DOA.- Read Stun's review (99 words)

I'm sorry but the Motorola Ti250 is the worst phone I've bought. First there was no ITAP which allows writing SMS without spelling each word. Orange could not fix with software upgrades so had to send to Motorola for 5 working days. Free collection and delivery but not good enough. Now keypad faulty and yet again having to return to Motorola. Orange refuse to replace and Motorola refuse to replace. Service does not out weigh this phones bad points.
Buttons are well placed but menu is slow and c ...- Read Jason's review (116 words)

Ok, so maybe the Motorola ti250 isn't quite as solid as a Nokia, but I think we have to realise that simply because Nokia are the monopoly power in the market, they are not the best phones around.
Kids buy Nokias, and anyway if I hear any more beep beep beep beep tones i'm gonna go crazy.
This is a great phone, and has the most features on the market. Sound quality is good, and if you are more interested in using the phone for what it should be used for, rather than downloading graphics and r ...- Read john's review (151 words)

An interesting phone, but don't buy it blind. Marketed by Motorola as the alternative to the Nokia 6210 it boasts an impressive feature set including WAP, Voicenotes, T9 Predictive type, IR port and bundled software to allow synchronisation with a compatible PC.
Firstly the good parts, the size and weight are good, as is the large screen with a lovely blue illumination. Unfortuately this is spoilt by using green illumination for for the keys, which ruins the aesthetic effect and just looks ...- Read leref's review (365 words)
