Good Points: Easy to learn , great effects and coloring , free updates and add ons , good communitys and forums to assist you , nice set of tutorials to get you started , nice options like Icon Control (in pro version) , Heading , Window Size , etc.

Bad Points: Can't put the games into a website (which would of been nice but not needed) and strict mods on the forum so when you go their make sure that the games or programs you post in the Program Announcements have pictures and were made in or another Game Creator software.

General comments: Very nice program. I got it about 2 months ago and I have created several programs. It can create both Games and Programs with a easy to learn language. I compared it to some other languages (Blitz 3D , C++ ) and it seems to be a more user friendly type of language. I would recommend it to anyone even a 10 year old. Before you buy it I would go to their website (thegamecreators.com) and go to the DarkBASIC Showcase and it shows you a bunch of games people made with DarkBASIC. Also check out the program announcements in the forum. Just to see what kind of things it can make.

This is the best and only programing software I have came across in my huge search for a good game creation resource, its not only fun to learn as you progress really fast, but also very very rewarding. Try to understand what these 2 commands would do what 10 commands would do for c++

PRINT "darkBASIC is fun and easy to learn"
    waitkey

if you have manged to bend your head around those 2 lines the darkBASIC is decently for you, well recommend DarkBASIC.

The DarkBASIC Programming software in my opinion has just not been worth the money that I payed, Simply because before purchase, as far as I am concerned, I was not told that it doesnt work on XP. Very unhappy about therefore cant make any good points!

With little knowledge of Computer Game Programming Software, this DarkBASIC was the best Christmas gift I ever received. With fantastic tools there were 3D objects flying around the screen in no time. This has brought new life to my computer and the stack of software gathering dust because they were so difficult to grasp and will now go in the bin. My brother is into this as well and sits for hours on the pc, although I have had complaints from friends that it is too slow, I myself had had no pr ...
