I got a free trial of Mcafee when I bought my laptop and decided to buy the year package. All was well until I got a virus. I tried scan after scan which failed to remove the virus. I then contacted the support service- which was totally useless. I contacted the service centre, managed to figure out what how to contact- incomprehensible instructions.I sent email after email -no response. I then phoned up the service and again incomprehensible and no use.Through my own efforts, I got rid of the virus. Won't be renewing my subscription.Be careful if you have a subscription- make sure you cancel your sub, otherwise it will be automatically deducted. I would liked to have known the quality of service before I bought the protection.
