I bought my 88 TC brand new and have nothing bad to say even to this day! I absolutely love this car and would recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable but well handling and peppy car. Gr8 gas mileage and the most dependable car I have ever owned! Only downfall is the short season to drive it where i am located!

I also own one and its engine I just rebuilt and I took a bigger turbo out of an 86 and its awesome. I have also had a custom performance cam rebuilt. Next is massive induction and front mount intercooler, these cars have huge potential. I have seen them with up to 500 hp on stock block. My car is from az so it's rust free. If you can purchase one from places without winter because the cars tend to have electrical problems so if there's no cold, there's less of a chance to have them. I have a sp ...

Well my best friend has a 87 Ford T-Bird Turbo Coupe which I will purchase very soon. I have driven this car and have to say wow. The turbo has amazing power and is very easy to bump up the power. A neat feature is the suspension. There is a button which can set the suspension to firm or auto. If on auto then the car when driven hard around a corner will activate briefly to firm so that you don't have a small accident which ends your joyride. The comfort in this car is unbelievable for the year, ...

TheFord '87 T-Bird Turbo Coupe is Awesome car!!! If you can find a clean one with low miles...BUY IT!!!
I owned one and loved the hell out of it. Everythings good said is very true. Great handling car for it's size. %-speeds much better than automatics but both true touring cars with zip.

These cars were built on a strange, tough chassis that was only used in Cougars, Mark VII's, and T-birds for only a year or so. The handling is excellent. The possibilities are endless (if you're into modification). And the car is great. The way I see it, is if you have 20k or more you want to dump into a car you could buy new, or you could make new and have something that is unique. You can't go out and buy an Audi or a Jag and whip up a name for it right away. Body shops and modification g ...
