Good Points: Value for money Out-of-the-box rideability
Bad Points: Grips wore out too quickly Crank loosened up a few times Would prefer chrome rims
General comments: When I bought this GT Bestwick Pro Freestyle BMX, I was looking for a freestyle bike that I could buy as an entire bike rather than spending large amounts of time and money building up.
I bought it on special, AU$500 reduced from $600, which made it better than most other if not all other bikes in the price bracket.
It rode well out of the box, although I changed the 4-piece handlebars over with a 2-piece pair from a specialized fatboy vegas, and changed the 14t sprocket with an ACS claw 16t for better gearing.
The grips wore out too quickly, and the BB loosens up a bit after some long skate park sessions, so a decent crank setup might be worth considering, but that's getting picky.
Also, to split hairs, I would have preferred chrome rims (black rims standard) for better braking, so that's another long-term upgrade.
Overall, the bike is awesome, and in terms of value for money (especially with the discount) you can't go wrong.

I fell in love with this bike as soon as i saw it! The color was perfect having a maroon body and chrome on the fork, handlebars, crankset, and sprocket. The ride is awesome and the gyro is really nice!I was surprised to see that it only came with a one piece crankset. It being a pro bike and all i figured it would have a 3 piece set. The sprocket was a little thin, but still nice. Most of the bike is made out of 4130 chromoly. The stickers are nice and look really really good.
