Good Points: Not many good things: nice lights.

Bad Points: Few problems with the player; region code for a while, then player stop working.

General comments: Samsung HT-DM150 is a cheap home theatre system in my opinion.

Working as an engineer, I have seen many of these Samsung HTDM150 sytems. I have found many faults. Finding tech info on the Samsung sites is nearly impossible. Bad News. Stay away.

This item takes a minute to open for a dvd, takes forever to play, and then would shut off mid movie. Alot of barracks Marines bought it and agree, go JVC.

the SAMSUNG HTDM150 is a fine unit, had mine a few months and i'm very happy with it, in dts sound mode sheryl crow's rockin' the globe live dvd sounds incredible and looks fantastic too, handles saving private ryan very well, the explosions and bullets whizzing about really draws you in, the volume goes up to 70 and i normally have mine set 58-62 which is loud, cd's could sound a little bit better but that seems to be the case with nearly every dvd player, for a night in with a good film you can ...

Th Samsung HTDM150 is one of my best ever purchases. Its not without a few niggles though. The picture and sound is awesome. It looks fantastic too and is so well built. If your heavily into sport and need good trick play features its not the system for you. I love it to bits though.
