Good Points: Nice design, good images, just plain nice.
Bad Points: I havent found one yet.
General comments: The Sony SDM-HS73 is my first LCD and I guess I picked a good one. This monitor stood out over every other one I looked at. Black and silver matches my PC and I couldn't be happier. Good contrast and brightness and text is fine.

Got this Sony SDM-HS73 for backup up machine and it looks great. No dead pixels out of the box, always a worry no matter whose LCD you pick. Plays Empire Earth as well as the ole 19 inch CRT. Running this on 1.4 Duron Gigabyte MB with 512MB SDram and Gainward Nvidia Geforce 2 card. See all,y ou can run new with the old as this LCD is plug and play with no drivers to load in WINxp. Plenty bright at 250nits may even turn down a bit. Played my homemade screensavers beautifully.

Well, I must say... that i was quite excited for this monitor to be coming, as I have been waiting forever to purchase a LCD monitor, After much research, I decided to go with the Sony SDM-HS73/W
As It had a High Native Resolution, and a excellent contrast ratio of 500:1 ... Every pixel seems to be uniform, and everything shows up nicely on the monitor. It has a Great response time, I recommend this monitor to anyone who is planning on purchasing a LCD or any type of monitor for that matter. ...
