i know a far bit about slingahots and dont bother about ever getting one of the better models like diablo or cobra this is perfect small to go in your pocket ive allready killed a few pigeons with it so yeah its powerfull and a great first slingshot and perfect for the £money£ ! (read more)

This is a well made compact sling useful for upland game hunters to stick in their hunting jacket for knocking a wounded quail out of a tree. It is very compact and the grip and forks are well designed. My main complaint with the Barnett brand (and I own all of their models) is that the quality of the pouch is substandard compared to the American made rigs and the bands tend to "stack". Not nearly as bad as the chinese made bands on the DAISY line but I find the barnett rubber a notch... (read more)

The Barnet Strike 9 slingshot can launch way over 200feet. The elastics are strong and last long, i've had it for over 15 years and nothings gone wrong on it.

does any1 know how to make the leather bit to last longer i got a Barnett Cobra slingshot and leather starts to rip now and its only beed 1 weeks or so since i got it.

Hi lex if you get a band with a cream coloured band they last really long but are flexiable

Hi Lex, if you want you can change leather and make it yourself. The best leather to use for such a purpose is called 'Bookbinding Leather'.
<br>This leather is tough and should last longer than the original. Also use leather cream to keep it soft, otherwise it will start cracking.
