    Good Points: Easy to use. Great input screens. Many options. Smooth. Non accountant friendly.


    Bad Points: Nil.


    General comments: We have been using accounting programs since 1983 and have in that time seem and used almost every accounts package in the world, and top of that list now has to be MYOB. It is now so far ahead of the pack we wonder if all the others have gone to sleep? Installation is a doddle. Set up is so simple even a child could do it. The modules are set up in such a great way that each is permanently visible and the user can switch between accounts, banking, sales, purchases, cheque payments and more with a single click. One of its greatest strengths is the 'batch' processing which enable a user to stay in one screen (cheque payments for instance) and just keep itemising each cheque line by line. When finished everything has been automatically updated. Vat inclusive or exclusive, numbering, totals for Vat, and Grand total are all updated automatically. The programs speed is another major plus, and acceptance of any input is all a one button operation. The reporting functions are comprehensive yet remain simple to operate and almost every conceivable report that might be needed can be generated immediately. The opposition really do have a long way to go to 'catch up' and by then MYOB will already be streets ahead!
