Walmart stores on commercials are always filled with smiling english speaking employees in clean stores. But this has not been my experience every time I go in to a walmart store. There is merchandise all over the floor that no one seems to want to pick up and put away. Employees are never smiling and many don't speak english. If you can find an employee. (read more)

The Walmart All is a bad beginner board, I tried my little cousins walmart board and it took me 5 tries to land an ollie, these are in no way similar to REAL skateboards, if you get good on one of these props, but if you get into skateboarding seriously, you'll have to start over from scratch.
Good For - Showing off you got a skateboard (For only 20 bucks)
Bad For - Skateboarding (Whats the effing point then?)

i started off with a walmart mongoose board, which i totally recommend for beginners because mongoose is a more trusted brand than the cartoon boards. after a few months of skating, you should be able to buy a more nicer, famous brand board. probably one that costs $50-$100. i use habitat boards witch is one of my favorite brands compared to almost brands (read more)

I like that it does not break the first time you ride it, and also because its pretty good for beginners to start on, I started on one but, once you get a little more advanced in skating you might want to move on to better built boards so you can have a board that's just right at your level in skating. wallmart boards are not very sturdy, but when you are just starting out it is worth the 30 or 40 dollars. A beginner doesn't need a real board right away and this one if fine to just ride and learn how to ollie or even kickflip with. (read more)

This was my first board. It is a good board for a beginner. I learned to kickflip on it. The quality isn't very good, but what do you expect? No concave, cheap trucks, Abec 1 bearings. I paid $40 Canadian, and for that price it really was worth it. I got lots of good use out of it and I learned all the basic tricks on it. It's all you really need if you're just starting. I had a Walmart deck for a couple of weeks, and snapped it. If your looking for something cheap though, just to ride around, theyre alright. Make sure to get the ones with the metal trucks though. Dont be too crazy though, except i use one to grind with as a support leg, to make myself better without tearing up my good board. (read more)
