Very lightweight guitar, marvellous tone quality, superb pickups, fits in several rock or hard rock types of playing, easy playing, and last, but first of all, very cheap... blind eye suggestion for starters, or pro's who want something different in sound producing!!! (read more)

The Danelectro 56 U2 is the end product of the perfect union between a toilet seat and a twig. It is very lightweight and can easily be played for hours.
I use it for the unique tone that will stand out in the mix. Not a guitar for every situation though. Lots of twang and jangling strings if strummed for rhthym and lots of country in the lead. Straight out of the bow it played well but needed some adjustment for the feel I wanted. (read more)
