Good Points: Relaxes, Relaxes, Relaxes
Bad Points: No Bubbles!
General comments: After a long hard day this is the way to unwind and relax! The Sanctuary Bath Relaxer is just one of many products now available from The Sanctuary Spa, which is based in Covent Garden in London. Oh how I wish I could go there!!
I bought my 300ml bottle for £4.25 from Boots. I think you can also get a smaller size, this is 100ml. I couldn't see this size at Soots but I know you can buy it online from the sanctuary website, the smaller bottle cost £2. At the moment the Sanctuary range is on offer at 3 for 2 so you can also pick up the body lotion or whatever you want and get the cheapest free!! The bottle is very simple. A clear bottom with its famous orange top, and large blue lettering. I like to see what I buy, and the sanctuary products offer this.
The Bath Relaxer is a bath oil, so that means you don't get any of those large bubbles, which was quite strange for me as usually they are coming out of the bath!! The bath relaxer states it fills your room with the wonderful aroma of the spice oils. This it does! My bathroom is quite large, but after starting the bath and pouring a little amount under the hot water it took seconds for that smell to hit me. Straight away I just wanted to jump in and relax!! The smell is really spicy and there's the hint of almonds! It also states that your skin will be perfectly cleansed, soft and gently moisturised.
While in the bath I was so relaxed, the smell seemed to take me to my own Sanctuary and for that short while I could just take it easy and chill out. I do admit I did miss my bubbles, but I suppose they don't serve any real purpose. After getting out the bath my skin didn't feel oily it felt smooth! Well as smooth as it gets, I had no reaction to this product. My skin also felt quite moisturised but I did still feel the need to apply moisturiser, just to make sure I was super soft! After this I sat down and felt so relaxed I nearly fell asleep!!
The bath relaxer I feel did exactly what it stated it would do, it relaxed me got rid of my head ache and soothed my skin. The smell was soothing and I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Especially those who have a very stressful life. Also this would be a great gift for mother's day and with the 3 for 2 offer you can mix and match to make your own little goody bag!
All sanctuary products can be purchased at boots and more information can be found on the sanctuary website.
