Good Points: Good power when it works
General comments: Gas cylinders on the benjamin air source has never seated properly. The proper gas cylinders do not seat as they should. The older the rifle gets, the worst the seating is until now they won't seat at all.

The Benjamin Air Source AS392T is a great rifle that would be even greater if Crosman would sell a shut off valve so you didn't have to waste the gas after a light shooting day. Still haven't figured out why it would hurt to leave a partially full canister attached, but I'll follow their instructions.
By the way, if anybody knows where to get the shut off valves, let me know. Allegedly they are out there.- Read ted3929's review (116 words and 2 comments)

The design of the Benjamin Air Source AS392T is sound because it works and has not needed to be changed in more than 50 years. I have had my boyhood Benjamin stored in the basement for the past 50 years. I got it out to give to my grandson as his first gun this Christmas. I tested it and, believe it or not, it worked just fine. It pumped up and held the pressure just like it did when I used it as a young boy starting 60 years ago. What more can one say???- Read de brey's review (107 words and 1 comment)

I purchased a Benjamin Air Source AS392T air rifle three weeks ago after owning a BSA meteor for 25 years (haha). This gun felt as though I had owned it for the same time.
I would prefer a rubber but mount and air shut off valve, but other than that it is superb.- Read Parro's review (67 words)

I purchased a Benjamin Air Source AS392T air rifle several days ago from Pyramydair after returning a Daisy 22SG because it leaked. Although the 392 cost somewhat more than the Daisy ($95 vs. $149), the difference in quality was well worth it. The 392 is solid and shoots well.
I mounted a Tasco 3-9x40 scope I bought at Walmart for $30, and it seems to work well (although the end of the scope tube is butted up against the rear sight - I believe the rear sight can be removed, but the setup ...- Read mhoffacker's review (402 words and 3 comments)

Wow what a gun the Benjamin Air Source AS392T is, as soon as you shoot it , it feels like you have had it for years, not many guns are like that .
The trigger will need some work as it is a bit heavy when new, dual power is good for indoor shooting, and you get about 250 shots on low power, the fit and finish is very good for the money. So far I just cant fault it .
But I am still on my fist cylinder.
Will let you know again in a few months.- Read oldgit's review (107 words)

Out of the box the quality of the Benjamin Air Source AS392T is good, the trigger quite heavy. Some polishing anad tuning got a clean 3lb pull out of it. I have tested the rifle out to 30-35 yrd on a good rest it will keep all the shots under 2 inches at this range. Depending on the temp the point of impact might change a little. Mounted a 3x9 scope on it and it is almost consistently on on target less human error. It does not like domestic pellets like daisy, crossman etc. Very consitent accura ...- Read av2011's review (200 words and 6 comments)

I liked my Air Source 392 rifle as soon as I took it out of the box. I mounted a 2x7 scope and soon was knocking down field targets 40 yards away. The rifle has two power settings. According to the manufacturer, the low setting is 500fps and the high setting is 610 fps. This gun is fun to shoot because you can shoot half a tin of pellets on one gas cylinder. It feels good because it is not too light. Wal-Mart sells a two-pack of AirSource cylinders for about 7.00. I have many guns, both air ...- Read Steve4887's review (174 words and 4 comments)
