This game is based on the comics rather than the film or cartoon so some of the characters will be a bit different than you may be used to. The developers of this game hired ex marvel writers to script the story - this makes it seem even more authentic and helps the game flow.
The level design has been described as slightly bland but I disagree, I feel it suits the game, the levels are still interesting, they just lots of shades of gray and the New York levels are particularly well designed. The four team member system works well, if you've played Baldurs Gate you will instantly be at home with the system. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone - I think I've got slightly addicted if I'm honest.
