    DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
    Did not want to give them any rating, they are rubbish and don't deserve any stars at all!
    I ordered a clerical teachers desk on 3rd August, expecting it within 10 days as the website states. I chased delivery EVERY week to be fobbed off by customer services that it would be with me by the end of the week after, and that I would be phoned with a delivery date. Nothing!! I chased every week, and was put on hold each time for ages! I finally cancelled my order on 9th October, over 8 weeks after they took my £145, but had still not received my refund by the end of October! I called my bank, who stopped my card and raised a disputed transaction against them, meaning I was inconvenienced even more because of this appallingly managed business! I finally received my refund from them on 5th November!! Their customer services is shocking and management style attrocious. Believe nothing they tell you! I will be reporting thme to Trading Standards, and recommend that all of us who have had the mispleasure of this company do the same so that we can warn the rest before they too get into months of hassle with nothing to show for it! I thought I was quite savvy at shopping on line, and feel very foolish that I only discovered this website when it was far too late!

    Furniture @ Work and their distribution's company Dams International are the worst companies I have ever dealt with - ever. I ordered just 1 table to be delivered between 5 - 10 days. A table top and 4 legs arrived over a week late with no fittings. I rang customer services 5 times and held on for at least 10 minutes each time without making contact. Once I waited 15 mins only to be cut off. To get through to speak to a person you normally have to hold on for 20 minutes. If you call sales ...

    I don't really have time to write a long review, but suffice it to say I will never order from this company again - their staff are nice on the phone - that's the only good thing I can say. Our (small) furniture order was delivered late, damaged and to the wrong address - a pub down the road. The delivery service dumped the box at the door when the pub manager was not around.     Furniture@work is by far the worst on line company I have dealt with. I ordered goods which were promised in 5 to ten days but after 15 days had passed I telephoned. I had to listen to piped music on an 0844 line for 20 minutes before I was told that the good would not be with me for a further 30 days. This is a total of 45 days on a promised 10 to 15 days.     This company is a joke and not a very funny one. Order several weeks late, it takes 20 minutes to get through to customer service to be promised another delivery date which again won't happen. We have now cancelled the order, I just hope the not as poor at refunding the payment!

    I would not use this company ever again. i ordered desks and office equipment. have had to chase the order 3 times without success. each time I have been told the order is in dispatch but each time told different dates and times, it's always 'by the end of the week'. I'm disgraced that companies like these can stay in operation. they've even sent me their catalogue - future orders - i think not! - their catalogue has been filed in the bin!

    What a shame I have to give them even 1 star. They just don't deserve it. They have just let me down with non delivery of furniture I ordered well over a week a go. I specified a delivery before the 19 Oct. Today (Fri 16 Oct) still nothing has turned up. Spent ages ringing to be left on hold each time for up to 15 mins a go!     This is one of the worst companies that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Their customer service does not exist. I would not give them any stars at all if I didn't have to.

    I wish I had read some reviews about it before ordering.

    Like previous comments they're very happy to take your money. Furniture@Work don't chase delivery dates etc. They'll put you on hold for over 10mins then they won't sort the problem out and promise to phone back - this never happens. We will not be using them again.

    Furniture at work are the worst company I have ever dealt with! I received a phone call last week from a very rude and stubborn delivery man claiming to be at my office and 'how long are you gonna be as i dont do stairs'.     Furniture@Work is the most rubbish store out there DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE they will never send the order out iv been waiting for over 1 month for a chair that was supposed to be sent next day. Dont get any replays to my e mails so i phoned and cancelled the order. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

    never use Furniture@Work and if you do be prepared to have a good solicitor. i am not a rival just a customer who experienced what this company is all about....promise an order...pay....failure to be delivered...cancel.....no refund.....promises.....still no refund...promises......still no refund.....promises.
    and after reading of the standard of the furniture when it does arrive, i'm kind of glad i cancelled.

    I ordered 2 chairs over the phone with Furniture@Work Ltd and the telesales boy said they were available for express delivery the following day AND guaranteed it! The next day I phoned to check where the delivery van might be and I was told that they would'nt be with me until 5 days later. I cancelled straight away and was put through to the 'accounts' department who said I would get a refund straight away. I am still waiting 12 days later.     Reported Furniture@Work to Trading Standards, customer service appalling, chair delivered damaged, numerous phone calls and emails, a company that runs like this should be closed down.

    They offer incredibly poor customer service but this is left in the shadows compared to the rediculously poor products they actually sell.Having purchased 2 identical computer chairs for £60 each from this company both subsequently broke at the arm rest within a 2 year period.     Furniture@Work Ltd delivery guy came to deliver desk, no desk in truck, waited again for over a week desk came today but no legs, everytime we phone staff are very rude and don't make any effort to apologize or say that it is their fault, rubbish service.

    Very unhelpful staff, waiting for over 4 weeks for our desk to be delivered.

    Remember a lot of rougues are relocating to Glasgow, they have their own law there when it suits them.
    Press Glasgow Trading Standards to do something about this lot, maybe they will take 5 minutes off from prosecuting traders for slightly under age sales on behalf of our wonderful government if enough people complain!
