    Gradius V is a great, classic slide scrolling shoot-em up, the level design is amazing and it takes you right back to the early days of gaming when this type of game was all the rage.

    When you first buy the game don't be surprised if you find it hard - this is not an easy game and even the normal difficulty will be a real challenge if you don't play these types of games often. This game is going cheap now at about £15, at that price I don't know what your waiting for - you will be very hard pushed to find a better game for your money.
