    Fantastic product. Forget high rollers like Norton, Kaspersky, etc. This is all you need.

    Avast free or paid for has to be the best Anti-virus package on the market today. The interface is easy to use install takes a matter of minutes and updates regularly. I have used various anti-virus software over the years and found that many of them are resource heavy not only on scanning but while working in the background doing what they are meant to do. I build and repair computers many of which are for low income families so when Avast offer free anti-virus that works can only be a bonus. P ...

    its probably best anti-virus on d net..........coz i've almost used every anti-virus known to me ............. so i guess u gotta stick to this.......coz some anti-virus like AVG, Bit-Defender, Quick-Heal find viruses on applications which dont even have viruses....... n corrupt dem or delete dem.........so i say its better to have smthin instead of loosin wat u hav !!!

    I'm a computer enthusiast and have been googling my way allover the net to find the best antivirus software. but so many people had their own opinions and recommendations.

    Then my friend recommended avast's 60 day trial of professional edition. at first, I totally doubted it since it's not as flashy as other programs. but, when I finally installed it on my PC. the boot scan literally blew me away, it scanned almost 30+ trojans and worms on my pc that AVG have missed, even kaspersky.

    I have used avast for years and never had a problem with avast. Installed onto meny friends and family pc`s and laptops. I would say this is a must for any pc or laptop updates every day.

    I'm a computer technician and have been using avast for the last 4 1/2 years. I recommend it to all of my customers, its easy to use and it updates its self. When you install it, it reboots your system and scans for viruses before you boot into your operating system.

    I have used the free version for some years now and it has never let me down,it just gets on with the job without fuss and you do not need a degree to work it.Thanks Avast.

    I've used Avast for a couple of years now and it has proved invulnerable so far. Part of that may be because I don't tend to visit dodgy sites, but nothing I have come across has got through. I've recommended this program to several friends who now use it and none of us can find any real problems. Download it, install it, and let it get on with it.

    Avast is the best free, no ,the best anti virus to be had. I've down loaded Avast onto PC's that were riddled with viruses running well known products that could'nt fix it, and Avast has fixed it.It will even point you to tools that will unlock locked files so they can be checked. I've used Free Avast for five years and never had a problem. They never pressure you to pay for their product,no pop ups ,no adverts,brilliant, I feel guilty I've never paid for Avast.

    For a product that's free this is awesome. 2 viruses were picked up straight away that my nod32 missed. I have now put this on two other family members computers. I read a review where someone said it slowed there laptop down and they replaced avast with trend which fixed the problem. My mother used trend on her new laptop which slowed it down really bad. As soon as I took it off and replaced it with avast it went really good? strange that. I feel confident that avast is doing a good job protect ...

    Avast is the best antivirus in my ipinion. It's fast and it has quick updates too. I use the professional version without problems. It detects and removes viruses, trojans, rootkits and keyloggers very easily. I recommend it to all.

    I used Norton and McAfee before and so far, this one is the best. It doesn't slow my system down and catch some malware as well as virus which both Norton and McAfee did not catch for me. I would recommend it to my friend.

    Ive had many Anti-Virus software installed on my laptop. This one is unfortuneatly one of the worst! I took a few attempts to install and actually slowed my machine down. In the end I had to take my laptop to my local Computer Technician who then introduced me to Trend Micro products. Its worth spending the money on a decent package with better support. thanks to http://www.northdigital.co.uk Jay for helping me out on this one.

    Very good anti-virus. Not a resource hog like Norton Symantec which also allowed a number of horrible trojans infect my computer. Plus it's compatible with all my programs and updates are automatic. We have the paid version and are quite happy. Would recommend.

    avast antivirus is a super antivirus , but it has its own disadvantages particularly when comparing other anti virus softwares (free outh there), one problem is its user interface is too hard for the average users to understand,
    yet it is one of the most popular antivirus softwares out there, anti virus database needs updating and they should improve code so that it uses less resources

    Had Norton, McAfee and Kaspersky over the past few years but none of these match Avast. Avast beats them all hands down in that it is simplicity at its best, does not use up resources and gets on with the job. Excellent Program.

    Avast would have to be the best anti virus software ive used it automatically updates and doesn't slow down your computer at all.
    Avast anti-virus is a great program and i would highly recommend downloading it!

    I give it a perfect 5. I am using this anti virus software and I have no complaint, it's fast, reliable, automatic updates is often, and it uses very little resources of my PC unlike other antivirus softwares.

    Avast also has free edition for you to try, but if you want more, professional edition is a must. But for personal antivirus protection, the free version is enough.

    Avast works in the background and is non-intrusive. Just install it and it updates itself automatically. It warns you with a loud siren when a virus is detected. It is very good for a free software that it even beats Norton and McAffee.
