    General comments: Avast Antivirus helped me catch many viruses :] saved my computer plenty of times..All the features are great and cover mostly everything

    I have not had any viruses since installed it. Avast has caught several viruses. Everything works fine and is easy to use.

    Avast Antivirus is a good antivirus....but still it lacks heuristics...because of that it couldnt scan the project1 virus on my computer and i had to install another antivirus with heuristic capabilities to detect the malicious program and delete...but on the overall avast is not bad...but i'l go for nod32 which is far more powerful!!!!

    Avast Antivirus is excellent for a free anti virus. Of course better then avg by 10x. Simple stuff. Good detection for free anti virus.

    i've used other well know products, thought I had the best when a friend, and exec with a very well known world wide company, told me he and the company use Avast. I downloaded the free copy, unistalled my previous protection and installed AVG. I was impressed that it required no set time to check for updates but was updated automatically when a new update became available.

    Avast anti-virus has impressed me. It runs quietly in the background, protecting my system and does not slow it down. A fantastic free software, better than alot of other packages!

    Do not use Kaspersky, Norton, Nod 32, Bitdefender, AVG etc. use Avast and you will have a pc that is malware free and program which is reliable and just works. The program has a lot of features which many other lacks, features which are essential in the fight against malware. I have been in contact with the company behind Avast and they have informed me that since version 4.8 Avast is equipped with heuristics. They are planning to announce this together with other new features related to heurist ...

    there are no weekly or daily updates, only complete virus database update.

    Avast anti-virus is really the best of its kind. It made me absolutely satisfied. Before, I was very burdened because of all the viruses that was infecting my PC. But after I tried avast professional v4.8, my problems are swept away! Avast removed all of the infections in my computer, and now I have nothing to worry about.

    the best thing about Avast anti virus is that it doesn't overloads the computer.....quite light to use.....but it has to make its apperance more professional

    Well here i was surfing the internet one night when my PC crashed and failed to boot into windows i tried about 7 times and i could not login to windows (would log me off after logging me in)and i was using malwarebytes anti malware anyway i took the comp into get fixed it cost me $263:25 i paid the money,got the comp back and was told Avast will be the best(from friend not the comp shop) so i downloaded it and also paid for pro version anyway i did boot scan of this comp and OMG it found over ...

    Avast Antivirus is very good and easy to use ,
    very light pc runs very smooth i mean not heavy software.

    This Avast Antivirus software is my favourite of all time. I have never had a virus while using it. Real time protection always works and the theme is nice and different

    Avast Antivirus is an excellent Antivirus, free too. It will protect your computer from just about anything. I have used this excellent piece of software for about a year now and i'm very satisfied. Earlier i used Kaspersky and F-Secure, both Kaspersky and F-Secure is much more CPU hungry then Avast. In fact, i haven't got one single virus into the system using Avast so far. The built in webshield is amazingly effective and will spot viruses long before they even try to enter your harddrive.
