Good Points: absolutely everything!
Bad Points: none
General comments: Kodo Hair Straighteners - I have very thick and natural curly and frizzy hair. I had struggled to find the best hair straightener for me and I had bought many many of them however they had seemed to be useless because when I only went out my hair started to wave etc.
Kodo is the best. It keeps my hair straight for long, even GHD was not good enough for my hair. I'm definitely happy with them. Plus they are not as expensive as GHD. In my opinion GHD are a bit over rated.

I love my Kodo hair straightener's. I bought them as a back-up to my GHD's (which were constantly blowing up on me) - and soon reverted to using my Kodo's every day.
I've had them 3 years now and love them to bits. They've never, ever let me down, and don't pull or snag my hair like my GHD's did.
I'm hoping to get a Kodo Sakarra for christmas which is meant to be the best yet, but as for my creative, I can't fault it at all.

Kodo Hair Straighteners work very well on thick and curly hair. I've only had mine for 1 1/2 years and the electrical connection has become faulty. I only use them once a month and can do without them so I will not be buying another pair! Not impressed!

Love it to bits! I've had my Kodo for nearly 5 years and its still perfect! I'm never buying any other brand! Not even a GHD. Heats to 210 degrees and works brilliantly.

Bought these cordless Kodo Mikado straighteners off ebay last week. Have been using them everyday and am well impressed! They have three heat settings but on my thick curly hair I need the hottest setting (210 degrees). They get that hot that you can see a little bit of steam come off your hair when first used, obviously not the best for your hair but what I need to get mine straight! They have lasted me a week and now need recharging (3hours) which is pretty good going I'd say! I'm using these ...

I've had my straighteners for at least 5 years n they still work perfectly fine! Best investment I have made as I had previous makes before I got my kodo ones and they didn't leave my hair as poker straight as they do!!

I have had 2 pairs of Kodo hair straighteners in 3 years. Both broke out of the warranty period. I probably only use them 2 or 3 times a week. My daughter has had 2 pairs in under 2 years, and her first pair broke after only 4 months, but these were replaced free of charge. She uses hers daily. She has now bought a Babyliss pair, which were much cheaper. I don't think I am likely to buy another pair of Kodo's because they just don't last. The problem seems to be the flex.

I got the Kodo Hair Straighteners as a present in November, and the cable has nearly snapped. They are nowhere near as good as GHD, which I have borrowed before off friends (even if GHD wreck your hair).
They are good for longer hair.

I was fortunate enough to be given these straighteners as a goodwill gesture to trial and I am informed that they will soon be available to buy.
I cannot really comment about durability as I have not had the straighteners for long enough but reluctant to give the product low rating!

I had Kodo straighteners for 3 years and they worked perfectly, right up until I dropped them and the plates broke. If you have thick or curly hair they are great and the style stays for ages.

My friend had Kodos and she straightened my hair a her house once and it stayed straight for ages. Then when I was at my other friends house I straightened my hair with GHDs and after 1 night my hair was wavy where as with the Kodos my hair stayed straight until I washed my hair again. I was going to buy GHDs but now I am going to buy Kodos instead because I think they are better than GHDs. People always think that GHDs are better but they never give any other straightners a chance, if they did ...

These are first class straighteners!
I have thick wavy hair, and with my Kodo's it stays poker straight for days. I've used my mums GHD's, and I had to straighten it again between washes. Kodo hair straighteners are best!

Kodo's are a generally brilliant. Great price, much cheaper than GHD's. I had been looking for a good pair of hair straighteners that worked on my extremely thick hair for a while now, so it was a big relief to find some that worked.

I had my Kodo Hair Straighteners for 3 years, and I had no problems. They offer exactly the same performance as the GHD hair straighteners.

I got Kodo straighteners bought for me Christmas 2003, I am on this site looking to but a new one because I have stood on them and broken them. after over 2 years of use they were still in perfect condition. All my friends have GHD's but they all prefer to use my Kodos because they are better!!!
