Good Points: Small and friendly. Rooms spotless. Near Centre

Bad Points: Very small pool. Up steep hill

General comments: Loved this hotel felt like it was a bit more traditional than staying in one of the big all inclusives. Was amazed that you served yourself in the bar after a certain time and wrote down what you had and everyone was honest.
Just down a steep hill are you are right in the centre of everything. The harbour area is where the fish restaurants are located and although a bit pricey well worth a visit.
Had some great meals which, at the time we went in 2006 weren't too expensive and very good value for money.
If, like us your children have grown up and you want to get away from the kids then this hotel is the one for you but not if you have walking difficulties.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Its absolutely beautiful and you are sure to have a very peaceful, relaxing holiday. Plenty to do in the town, beaches and harbour are not far, or you can just stay in and relax in the sun. Very close to all the historical sites too.

Having stayed at this hotel many times (the latest being June 2008), We can honestly say that we will continue to return for many years to come. The hotel is spotlessly clean (the rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day), the food is amazing - breakfast consists of several meats, cheeses, fruits, olives, eggs, borek, bread/toast, cereal, jam/honey in fact everything you could want. Once or twice a week the owner cooks the most fabulous evening meal. This is a feast of several courses of tradit ...

Sorry after reading other reports on Villa Konak I am very dissapointed.
My room was very small, only a bed and side drawers in the room, not even a shelf. The bathroom was awful, more sixties and very dated, glad not there in very hot weather can't think what the mozzies will do to you!!! Cant open windows in bedroom because they are locked and you are next to a road anyway, so very stifling.
The toilet kept flooding, came back one night to 2inches of water in bathroom. Very noisy due to being ...

A friendly small hotel 22 rooms close to the centre of town yet very quiet. It is situated on narrow street with a steep hill that stops transfer buses from dropping off at the door taxi only. We have been coming for 4 years manly for the hotel and not Kusadasi, its very friendly and we always meet other people we know from previous times. There is only one large table for breakfast that means you get to know other guests fast. The bar operates on an honesty system serve your self and pay later. ...

Owners spent a lot of money in refurbishing the hotel. It became a great place, it has all luxuries now, air-con, internet, laptop, sat. tv. However still very quite and peaceful. Room we stayed in was a great re-production of Ottoman style with furnitures, lightings and marbled bathroom. Food was excellent, everything cooked in extra virgin olive oil. If we would have the same meal over London, we would pay at least £100 pp. Will definitely go again.

To be honest when you pull up outside the Villa Konak you could mistake it for a back alley somewhere in Turkey (it is on a hill in a narrow street, about 5 mins walk from the main town). However, when you walk into the double doors you are greeted by a beautiful oasis in the middle of Kusadasi. The owner, his family and employees are extremely welcoming and immediately get you into the Turkish way of life. No children are permitted to stay at this hotel, neither are groups of holiday makers aki ...
